previous wedding favours..

This time, i want to share the favours for previous weddings in my family...coming from a rather big family, with 5 girls...obviously we always opt to decorate the favours ourselves..hehehe...and Alhamdulillah so far everything has worked out great for us..

let me start with our first ever wedding in the family, for this reception we decided to give out face towel...to follow the theme, my sis custom the towel with purple embroidery of her and her hubbys initials..
To decorate it, we cut a piece of paper rolled it together with the towel and tied it with a silver string...we didn't have a separate gift for the kids..hehe.yelah our first wedding ...we didn't know at the time...the results...hehehe..as the picture below....
For the 2nd nikah in our family, one of my dear sister decided to make something special...the best choc dates i have ever tasted..hehehe...yummy-yummy...but for my nikah my sis will be too busy, so i decided to buy it from marry me gift & such ..inshaAllah...

For her reception, we gave jams..tiny jam bottles..we ordered the jam online, from a Malaysian website, so they posted it straight to our home without having to pay tax for jams..so best...

the decor was rather hard to pick out because we wanted to be just as cute as the jam bottles..finally we decided to stack up the jams and tie them up together with ribbons...all the decoration stuff was bought from ssf..hehehe...

results..ehehe..because this was paling susah to do (our fingers were sore tying the ribbons), and we made like 800 of them, so i have to say this is my fav..also because the jam was my idea...hehehe.i wanted to give honey out as my wedding favour, but it turns out that not many people like honey....hmm..

For the children we bought chocs from mydin in subang, and wrap them up with around doily paper hmm i think thats what they are..hehehe...

For the 3rd reception, we gave out natural soaps..we went to Bali and went crazy with the Bali soap..and somehow my brother came up with the idea to give them out as his wedding favours..hehhe...of course we didn't have to go Bali again, we just ordered them online..heheh..and they shipped it here...it came as a package + the thank you tag sekali...this was the most expensive favour actually..sbb the shipping was quite mahal + the thank you tag all and the tax..yes..the tax yg buat it mahal......but the best part, we didn't have to do anything...and of course my family was very happy with the results..they even custom the colour ikut our theme..ehehe

for the kids we gave them helium balloons and chocolates..urgh i forgot to take the choc pictures..and the official photo from the photographer tak siap lagi..(yes it has been 6 months n still 1 picture pun we havnt seen yet, so sad because they are very well known photographers)

helium balloons was a hit..and the adults pun tak habis2 asked for the chocs...so both of them finished first..hehehe

In conclusion, i think chocolate is somehow paling diminati ramai...I'm very particular with chocolate taste, so inshaAllah for my reception we are going to buy terus from the factory..heheh..tapi lama lagi.. and of course the helium balloons for the kids....

nikah ring

yay alhamdulillah after waiting for 2 weeks they finally finished setting my nikah ring...

when they called to say its ready, I so harassed habib to pick it up asap..so we went the next day...

once we settled the diamond, i was still very keen on a yellow gold casing, carik2 the couldn't find the one the design i wanted...kena re size...seeing that its going to be my nikah ring, i was not so keen on getting it re sized..i wanted it just as it is...the one that didn't need resizing, the prongs arrangement couldn't fit the diamond that we choose...

after a few minutes she came and said ok i have something else that's better but its not what u had in mind though..she showed me the casing no 2, ..but somehow it is secretly exactly what i had in mind..it has a solid band with 4 prongs..plus the casing fit my diamond perfectly.....

guess what???I finally choose a white gold casing..hehe..it looks something like this...pic taken from google of course..hhehee

its so cantik...its alot nicer that i thought it would be...simple and classic...hehe..timeless...

remember this post when i said i was going to go for yellow gold...i guess takda rezeki right..perhaps next time...

Nikah checklist (updated )

Well since our reception inshaAllah is much later, I figured its better to just have a nikah checklist first...reception checklist will be uploaded much much later...

ohhh I'm also having a small makan2 after nikah for my friends, then i dont have to do a seperate function..heheh..save money...inshaAllah...
the reception mainly will be for my parents friends, we have found the place..hhehe..me and mum so far very happy with their service..they just want us to finalise the food..(yes my food in July 2010 dah settle , nikah belum settle lagi)

Kursus kahwin:
Done at Jais shah alam..--> sgt tak best ..my brother went to al-nidaa' in Taman tun he said is soo much better...

Nikah legal stuff:
Borang sudah upload..
-HIV settled at klinik komuniti in kelana jaya...all done within one hour..alhamdulillah no drama here.
-Habib has settles all his forms and passed them to me,but i still hvnt done mine, because my imam is on holiday till next week...

Konon i said i was not going to have one...finally i decided to at least have videography for my nikah..went to see potential vediographer yesterday(psst, anil he show me your wedding video..sgt sweet ok..i loove ur nikah makeup)..hmm but still surveying around for the best rates.serious we are spending so much for a day..sometimes i feel so guilty........

Outfit
Mine : fitting this sunday..ohh so nervous...
Habib: Sent it to my fav tailor and its all done, alhamdulillah its safely with him..cutting of the baju is amazing...
Family: yay finally mum and sisters sent their baju...hehe..no need to harass them anymore..

Makeup:
deposit paid...will call to remind them about the function..

Location:
settled alhamdulillah...but it comes bare..but i love the place...

Sound system:
still none, anyone can reccommend?

Decorator:
Alhamdulillah met with the decorator...concept dah agree,decorator now so busy, seriouly every vendor is busy this month..heish., so still belum finalise the design....

Catering:
Booked, but menu has not been finalise...again they say december is a busy month.urgh...

Favours:
I'm giving away a few wedding favours on the day itself...
Family: all sudah finalise and ordered....
Habibs family: they are getting extra, since they are our guests, still hvnt call the vendor to order..
Children & friends: chocolates
Choc Dates after nikah: found a website that sells it....marryme gift and such, she posted the sample choc and it tasted good...will order in Jan 2010 inshaAllah

Cards:
finally approved for printing...I'll be inviting my friends for makan2 after the nikah(since my reception is only mid year), so cards for my friends i decided to just do on my own, because its so mahal for me to print the same card but just tukar the timing...

Hantaran:
InshaAllah they will do my hantaran cantik-cantik..me and habib decided on 3 dulang only and i will also balas 3...
habib is giving ring, mas kahwin and 1 persalinan baju
I'm giving ring, cake and sejadah...

Ring:
booked my ring, i loove my ring..its slighty diff then what i initially wanted...now looking for his...

Spa:
still hvnt booked my spa..lately my skin has been so sensitive, i'm so scared to go...


Inai:
This aunty from brickfields does amazing inai...very very detail..she does housecalls...

Hand bouquet:
also from them....service diorg tiptop..all my silly questions that I email dilayan..oh thanks soo much Amy...

Corsages
sis decided she wants to do it, because mum wants to make it personal...

Balloons:
Yes we usually prepare helium balloons for the kids..to keep them entertained..so far its been a hit...of course it will be in pink and white....

Sign boards:
were having our nikah at a new place..and takut my family from jauh don't know the way, so i think its best we put a few signboards here and there...bunga maggar, will just buy from shah alam or something...

and finally, my fave....

Honeymoon:
yay booked our flight to krabi...we decided to stay there for a week...i wanted to get the goholiday package because its soooo much cheaper...but me and habib gatal nak change2 hotels..so ended up booking with the hotels straight...nasib baik ada honeymoon package..plus they also included all the island hoping package..yay so no need to worry so much..ohh i dah e-mail them about halal food in advace...inshaAllah food pun dah settle...airport tranfers, and hotel transfer pun sudah arrange..alhamdulillah...

InshaAllah I will anounce my vendors bila sudah confirm, or at least deposit paid..still ada a few yg tak finalise lagi..hmm...

Kurung modern inspiration....

While hunting for a design for my baju of course, i saved up a few pictures of baju that caught my eye...and i noticed a pattern..most of the bajus that i saved are all nikah outfits..and they were all rather similar..
oh no don't get me wrong i don't hate kebaya at all..in fact i love them..but not on myself..the kebaya somehow does not flatter my height and my body shape, or maybe i should get a new tailor??hehehehe..

anyway just wanted to share with everyone some of the pics that i saved... fyi, because some of the pics I've saved more than a year ago...I've lost the source of the pic..so sorry..

I love so much the simplicity of the baju...this was taken from arma wedding couture...the kain part is my fav...

I love her outfit so much..but a simpler necklace would have done justice to her neckline..

can't deny that she had a pretty baju nikah..but i personally think she didn't need the huge tiara..

ohh..i actually really wanted one of my attire to be just like this, a simple top and an elaborate kain..but where on earth do we find a material like that???..tried searching for it everywhere..last2 i gave up...urgh sadly had to toss the idea away..ohh actually i love most of rizalman's design.....it is very simple and elegant

i know this is actually not a bridal dress, but i love the kain for this kurung, its one of rizmanruzainis fav style ..and the colour..i'm a sucker for earthy tones..

this one was because of again the colour..kudos to rizmanruzaini...

This is my ultimate dream dress...Rizalman, i absolutely love this..the simplicity..the colour..

Havent visited my blog for a long time...hehe..i was away with my family to our fav holiday destination...


BALI....

Yes, bali....for me.... i love it sooooo much....u know we were just as skeptical as everyone about the place..one of my family member taknak jejak pun kat sana because she said got tooo many figures...

but when we went there, our first time..my whole family fell in love with the place..it has something for everybody, mind u at times i think they are more Muslim friendly then Malaysia itself.....

actually in this 1 year we have been there twice..never posted pics from our first trip coz i didn't have a blog at that time..my parents who has travelled all over the world, now has a soft spot for Bali..and our trip last week now made us love the place even more...

i will upload pictures of my current trip soon k...

OK as for wedding updates...hehehe..i think i am finally settled on a decorator..my parents pun approve, so waiting to meet them next week to settle the deposit..hope all goes well from now on, i dont want anymore bad news,inshaAllah......me, habib and my pengapit went to see him...we easily connected..cakap2 so long sampai 10pm.hhehe..so late...My pelamin idea was inspired by the picture below...hehe...its from the movie ayat2 cinta...ohh i loveeed that movie...

of course this is Indonesian style,..hehehe..i have malaysianise the concept..well actually all idea was from the decorator, whereby he extracted it from my nikah concept...sadly, no petals falling for me..hehehe....

Dream hantaran

In my previous entry i've mentioned that, due to our small budget we had to toss having beautiful hantarans.....

But me being a classic bridezila, I long having beautiful hantarans so what I do at night before I sleep is I blog hop and peep at others hantaran...and my favorite hantarans (i swear) are mostly at merisik gallery fotopages... MashaAllah even before I had a blog, merisik gallery is already in my favourites list....

Being a typical girl that I am, pink and white is my dream wedding theme...hence I've always dreamt of having fresh white and pink flowers on my hantarans...and i don't know whether it's a coincidence but i choose to call it faith, merisik gallery somehow has made many-many hantaran similar to my wedding theme... and the best part is, I've always wanted my hantaran on a flat try (if u see even our brothers hantaran pun is on a flat tray)...exactly like the picture below...ahh look at it...just beautiful...I love it sooo much..I want my hantaran to be exactly like this...

wedding shoes

I've been hunting for my wedding shoes and of course, me being the typical me....i want it to match my outfit...and I've selected a few designs that i really love...I'm still contemplating to custom the shoes, or buy ready made...because i have found 1 shop that sells it..but i have to bring my baju to make sure it actually matches...

This is my fav design actually...i love pointy shoes like this, but i reckon it wont suit my baju so much..plus i wear shoes like this all the time with jeans so for wedding i want something slightly different..for my tandang i dah custom an open design because its a garden theme wedding inshaAllah, but for mine since its going to be in a hall and i cepat sejuk i want something covered......

as for height, seeing that I'm not so tall...hehehe..i will take 4inch kot...my daily wear would be 3 or 31/2 inch..so hopefully 4 inches wont kill my back on the day itself...from my experience if you walk on carpet the whole day..memang tak sakit...

I never wanted to do this entry and i hvnt, since spoke to her last...and habib pun said its ok just let it go...but its been long enough..and its still bothering me..so yes..i need to vent it out...here goes...



a few months ago...i was looking for a decorator for my wedding hall...i came across her blog...and i was pretty impressed by her work...... and the thing that made me feel like she is the one because she wrote at her blog, "For my future clients out there, if you think that you are very busy with your work and have no time to plan your wedding and you need someone very reliable, whom you can trust and also can make your dream wedding come true, ...I would say, I am the person you are looking for"


So that was it i feel for it...i showed my family all her work and told my mum i think she is the one...I'm going to see her soon...my mum being careful as she is said...meet her first and keep your options open...but i said ...no its going to be fine someone recommended her and she seems very baik in her e-mails..

being a perfectionist as I am..i have this like wedding folder where i arrange everything...because i like to be coordinated...hey i was doing events for 3 years,so i should know all this by now..


Anyway so before hand i e-mailed everything to her..my setup...my vision and everything needed....so we made an appointment.. her house is around 45 mins from my house...se we went to see her at her house..which i found was weird because its very not professional to have a business meet up at a personal house...

1) i had to wait 15 mins outside her gate before she opened it for us..
2) during the meeting we achieved nothing because she was busy looking for stuff to show me, and I was irritated coz i've already shown her what i want and she should have prepared everything before i came...but I still loved her work and nobody is prefect so i figured takpela...just let it go
3) last2 finally she said..ok for what u want I charge RM 7000...and i was like ok..that is within my budget..so she said she will prepare the quotation and will get back to me...I said I'm very interested so yes do get back to me as soon as possible...

a few weeks went by...and i heard nothing from her..i msg her she said she is busy and will get back to me asap..i pun waited some more...


months went by..finally I heard from her...(during the wait I dah so angry because I DO Not work like that) I expect professionalism when we are a paying customer..
she sms me at 5 freaking am and ask.."oh u still interested ke with the quotation?" I was furious when i got the sms...dahlah i waited lama gila and u can ask me whether i'm interested or not...but ok i just said its my dugaan so I replied and said yes I am....


so I thought dah sms pukul 5pagi maybe u will hantar e-mail asap..but no..she only e-mailed me a few days later....and the worst part was..from RM 7k the price we agreed on....she naikkan her price to RM 15k..and total quote RM 24K.....After i told her specifically my budget the first time I met her at her house..

I'm so pissed...i hvnt replied the e-mail till now because i know if I do, then I will say bad things to Puan S N

so everyone careful with people like this out there..who thinks just because  dah well known abit can up the price more than double even though she has given her word to me on the price...


p/s: i said i'm an extrovert....and I said I'm here to share...I just do not want anybody out there to go through what i went through...I want all consumers to know your rights and not allow all this poeple to pijak our kepala...dah lah as it is weddings are getting more expensive nowadays..we just have to be very carefull......

My dream wedding ring

A few weeks back, finally i got to watch brides wars..funny movie...the scene that i cannot forget was when the guy proposed to anne hathaway's character..and goodness i couldn't take my mind off the ring...it was absolutely beautiful...

While the trend nowadays is white gold or platinum...secretly I'm still all for the yellow gold (even though many of my friend has commented is very makcik)...not like a bright bling gold, but just like the colour above...I started searching for it online...

dinner update

Alhamdulillah today i manage to find a suitable venue for our engagement...but unfortunately i wont be able to name the place yet, because I'm only going to confirm with them tmrw...but inshaAllah once everything is done i will reveal everything...

as for the makeup, i decided to do it myself..because i actually have a gone for a few makeup courses because before this i wanted to be a makeup artist..also this would save me some money, I'll just make full use of everything i have learnt in the pass...plus knowing habib, he always prefers me with my natural look alhamdulillah..so just a simple do would be sufficient....

The concept of my engagement is of course different than our norm. We have kept our guest list to only 15 adults and 2 kids...hehehe...which is actually just both our families...engagement to us would be a time where both families get to know each other and discuss on wedding stuff, so we figured what not a better way to do it, with an intimate dinner...

after finishing our brainstorming session, we shall adjourn inshaAllah to an appropriate place to sarung my ring by habibs mother...

as for our attire, i seriously haven't decided on what to wear...waiting for Habib to send me his baju melayu (which is tmrw i hope), and i will somehow find something to match it (benefits of having 3 sisters and a mother with all similar size, SHARING BAJU..)

May all our planning goes pleasantly InshaAllah...

wedding dress teaser..updated

Eid mubarrak everyone...alhamdulillah i just got back yesterday from both my kampungs and raya was great...pictures will be uploaded when i get a new memory card reader..

anyhow since raya pics still cant be uploaded so i shall upload teaser pictures of my wedding outfit...i only have my nikah and sanding baju...i forgot to take picture of my tandang baju (that one is in champagne)

This is my nikah lace...but of course it will be worn with white satin..not the black/white batik at the background....for my nikah attire, I'm actually partly using my sisters nikah outfit...since we are the same size and body shape...it saves a lot of money and I'm only wearing it for nikah session at the mosque....inshaAllah..My sanding material...when i choose it, alot of people was very worried because of how simple it is (design only at the border for the baju. the rest is plain chiffon)...but i loved it......when they opened the material i straight away fell in love with it...well it actually wouldn't be so much of a problem if i wanted to do a proper wedding dress...but i insisted on a kurung modern....I have always preferred myself in kurung than kebaya, so no matter what people say i do not want to wear a kebaya for my on my wedding day..my body shape does not suit a kebaya......

and to make matters worst..i do not want a train nor a long veil for any of my wedding baju..mum put her foot down and said no dragging anything, since there is a hadith sahih that supports that statement..so i reluctantly follow.....so pretty much it does sound more like a baju nikah then a sanding attire..

finally my designer drew a design that i really liked....he will play with beadings and layers of materials instead....1st fitting will be in 2 months inshaAllah...can't wait

p/s: secretly i do feel sometimes that my wedding dress is too simple..but when i see other brides wedding outfits...i always seem to love the nikah outfits more than reception...

Upacara batalkan wudu'

Shasha asked an interesting question, about wudu' during nikah...

This is my opinioin from the survey that i have done...Wudu' is not part of the rukun nikah...so with wudu' or without your nikah will be sah inshaAllah...so don't worry so much....I think the issue nak pakai gloves should be more because male & female (non mahram) touching and issue aurat...and we all know the hukum for that..kan kan???

but no worries, there are male makeup artist yg understand, so all application they use brush x fingers and i have seen ayang kamell (not so sure) makeup with gloves...


While talking about this topic i wanted to talk about upacara membatalkan wudu'

husband and wife touch wudu' batal ke???

most Malaysians will say that touching woman/man breaks wudu’ even if one does not have desire or lust...i grew up thinking the same thing..but why???

Because our prophet Rasulullah SAW, never said that unless kalau the touch has effect on the nafsu then yes batal..but if its just terkena or terpijak or setakat a normal kiss that does not lead to any nafsu... no problem..infact ada hadith yg back up to show that he did touch his wife in wudu'

Narrated Abu Salama: 'Aisha the wife of the Prophet said, "I used to sleep in front of Allah's Apostle and my legs were opposite his Qibla and in prostration(sujud) he pushed my legs and I withdrew then and when he stood, I stretched them.' 'Aisha added, "In those days the houses were without lights." (hadith Bukhari Book #8, Hadith #379)

Another hadith narrated by `A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) as recorded in the Musnad of Imam Ahmad states that the Prophet (SAW) used to kiss `A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) and then go to pray at the masjid without renewing his ablution(wudu').

It is clear from this evidence that touching those women/men whom Allah SWT allows us to have contact with does not break our wudu’.

If touching one’s wife breaks wudu’ the Prophet SAW would have told the people about it, and it would have been famous among the Companions of the Prophet SAW. NO Companion of the Prophet SAW has been reported to have renewed his wudu’ upon touching his wife or another woman, and there is no single hadith from the Prophet Muhammad SAW to support that.

Wedding according to the Quran and Hadeeth Rasulullah SAW‏

Salam

Here are some raugh guidelines on how our prophet SAW guided us on weddings in Islam..Allahu Akhbar...

1) Choose the right partner: 'men can choose women because of their wealth, position, beauty and agama,if utamakan the agama, thus u will profit from it' hadith bukhari and Muslim. 'as for the women, if comes a guy with good iman and akhlak, then marry him' hadith tarmidzi, hadis hasan(baik) menurut al-Albaniy.

2) Akad nikah at a suitable place. Paling afdal is in Masjid (but take note that women in mentruation(inclusive of bride and guests) are not allowed in the praying area, corridor/hall is allowed though). 'pukullah kompang' Hadis (hassan a.k.a good) ahmad and Tarmidzi

3) No such thing as hantaran is WAJIB...so yes if u dont hv anough money ITS OK not to have hantaran. If ada rezeki by all means (but don't forget to be humble because we if niat to riya', riya' hukum is syirik. The only thing that is WAJIB in nikah is the MAHAR(mas kahwin) firman Allah SWT in surrah al nisaa ayat no 4.(refer to alquran). the amount of the mas kahwin is determined by both the future bride and grooms family. The less burden the guy gets from collecting the mahar, the more Allah s.w.t will berkat the marriage, (refer to hadith sahih Iman Ahmad) also (hadith muslim, al-hakim, & ibnu Majah :- 'sebaik-baik mas kahwin ialah mas kahwin yang paling mudah dan ringan'

4) Give out Favours during nikah, Rasullulah SAW galakkan us to give out manisan ex:dates(kurma) during the nikah

5) Isytiharkan ur nikah kepada as many poeple as you can, so we dont create any fitnah.

6) As for the walimah, in Islam it says that 'adakanlah majlis walimah walaupun dengan seekor kambing' hadith muslim, clearly here shows that even those who don't have that much money still can afford to get married. & yes, for those with more rezeki, having wedding in hotels, halls, is still allowed in Islam, as long as your niat is not to menunjuk-nunjuk, Para tetamu has both the rich and the poor.'Rasulullah SAW says:- the worst of walimah is those who only invited the rich, and forgetting the poor' hadith bukhari and Muslim.
And hindarkan segala adat yang against Islam esp those came from other religion and culture example. 'Rasulullah SAW says 'anyone yang menyerupai adat suatu kaum, maka that person will termasuk dalam that kaum', hadith Ahmad and Abu Daud.( now this can be a big sin if the adat we are following is amongst the non believer)

7) It's Sunnah for the guests to congratulate the newlywed

8) Malam pertama, solat jemaah together (solat wajib and solat sunat) for Allah SWT will berkat a marriage when it starts the right way.

This are the only 8 things needed for a muslim wedding....so there is no such thing as kahwin nowadays is expensive, It will only be mahal if u want it to be mahal (life is all about choices). Allah s.w.t has made things so simple for everyone. It is up to us whether we want to follow the simple way. Marriage is sangat digalakkan in Islam, so I don't think we should go around telling people how expensive wedding is nowadays and how hard it is to do it.Why not instead, show people how in Islam we don't need to do things the hard way.

I went to 2 weddings 2007, the brides came from very rich families (who had their own private jet,helicopter, private yatch and many2 cars)... 1 wedding they spent RM5k total, the other one was below RM20k, after realizing there is so much more in life than just a huge grand wedding. One of them decided to give the rest of the money to the pakistan earthquake victims instead. InsyaAllah the good deed they did was accepted and rewarded by Allah s.w.t.

Seeing that I'm a very simple person, of course i would choose a very simple wedding cake...ohhh i love it so much....from the tray to the colour of the cake to the flower....and of course i have no doubt Gateaux can make something like this...

A reminder of life....how a split second can change everything..

Yesterday, the day after I arrived home from Aussie ( i will upload pics after this entry), my Brother in-law had a call from his mum saying that his grandma dah nazak, so he rushed from work head straight to Johor....my sis couldn't follow coz she is heavily pregnant (due next month inshaAllah)...otw at KM 192, he lost control of the car and skidded and the car over turned (terbalik) and langgar the railing kat middle of the highway..railing penetrated through the car and missed my brother by inches...

MashaAllah because airbag came out + he was wearing the seat belt + he made doa before & during the journey, he survived....he called my sis straight away, she called all of us..me and my mum rushed to melaka jasin balai polis...he was waiting there...when i first saw him I nak nangis to see him, but i had to be strong ( all this reminded me of the 2 accidents last year where i lost 2 friends, one of them was one of my closest bestfriend, this 2 accidents made me realise that i should become a better Muslim because life is really not that long, and we never know when our ajal is...)...his eye had bleeding from the impact of the airbag+crash+sunglasses he was wearing....he had scratches here and there...nasib baik the polis at jasin very baik...called tokio marine and the settled the tow truck to bring the car back to KL...while we were at the police station, got a call saying the grandma passed away....from Allah swt we are from and to Allah SWT we return....may Allah SWT forgive all her sins and make her amongst Muslims in Jannah...Ameen

as for us, we rushed back took my brother to damansara specialist...eye specialist checked his eye and neurosurgeon check his brain...alhamdulillah all is good, eye will take a month to heal...brain will take 1 week to settle down ( he feels like nak muntah, dr said because the brain was shaken to much by the overturning of the car))...the only thing is his neck fractured sikit from the impact...so now he is on a neck brace...but inshaAllah all wound will heal...just every now and then, he will feel the pain...

our car was a total lost..memang takda harapan nak repair...
mama looking at the damage,but its more important that my brother is ok..

The only small problem we had was with insurance because the car is under my dads name..but after they called my dad and settled everything, alhamdulillah all good esp because my brother was driving within the speed limit...because of the maximum insurance and that the car is fully paid, all claims inshaAllah will go smoothly...now they have to think of what new car to buy, all of us of course said, just get another japanese car again...

all I can say is I shukur Allah SWT spared his life for my sister, my nephew and future niece coming in October(inshaAllah)..

reminder to everyone, please drive safely, i know its not cool to follow the rules, but it prevents us from accidents...inshaAllah...get maximum insurance and take loan the shortest time u can afford......

Alhamdulillah met the designer......and he changed the design, according to how i imagined my attire would be...he said " u ni memang suka simple je, takpa i boleh buat"...i smiled and amat happy...Mr.R really has a good heart...i think its just me that overreact to the whole situation (malu i baca balik my last entry) betul cakap fizz design dia memang meletup......hehehe...

The sales girl from jakel was very pushy...habibs material, baju melayu masa dah nak potong she said don't worry dik satin je..i tanya harga dia cakap ala tak mahal...RM 200 p/meter je...crazy dahlah we are taking 10m! of course we settled with a cheaper material..but still looks and feels good...my advice make sure u know from where dia ambil the material...and make sure she is clear with your budget...

For my tandang outfit i will send to a designer that i have admired since 5 yrs ago.. i love his cutting and style..

alhamdulillah..now I'm happy...

I'm going to change the topic sikit for a while..hehehe....I was discussing with my friend who just got married recently about her wedding and the topic makeup came about...Naddynad, Aim yg buat...and It was very nice and natural...hehehe..i really liked it...boleh nego price as well..btw about my makeup update..hari tu I asked Liza availability in Feb....dia dah penuh...so Takde rezeki to take her...nasib baik got back up plan....alhamdulillah....

Ok now back to the topic, Yesterday for the first time I sat down listed everything we needed and everything that we have spent on for the wedding ( listed in excel, siap bercolour2 lagi..hehehe)....and guess what...my budget dah terlebih!!!! all this while i kira2 here and there...and I was so bangga to my siblings coz i told them "see u can plan a beautiful cheap wedding"...looks like I was WRONG....now i kena go through everything again, and cut down everything...its so sad... I have to admit from a simple wedding that i wanted, lagi research I did lagi i wanted more and more..Totally my fault...Alhamdulillah mama pun decided to sponsor a few things here and there..but she warned "it does not mean u can go crazy and spend"...yes, mum....

tmrw me and habib heading to jakel nak beli kain for family...inilah salah satu benda I didn't know it HAD TO COME OUT FROM MY WEDDING BUDGET... but its all good...because the best people to receive sedeqah is Family of course...and kitorg dah survey byk tempat and memang jakel is paling reasonable...also we are getting 1 set kain for 1 of our reception..inshaAllah...last week dah book dah, but since i'm cutting down my budget kena tukar kain...and this is something i discovered at our 1st trip to jakel....beaded chiffon can be more expensive then lace..heish..ada a few yg tersangat cantik...sampai RM 7k per meter...but of course yg kitorg book was much cheaper...they also have this amazing wedding package RM 680 sahaja for beaded chiffon 4m+ lining silk satin + baju melayu 5m..yes all in...
