Krabi honeymoon - Delicious FOOD

I've been meaning to write my part 2 and part 3 entry on krabi, ok here goes.. Oh me and habib had a lot of fun with the food here..mashaAllah...we both gained so weight by the end of the honeymoon..hehehe...But it was all worth it..Alhamdulillah...
Alright i shall start with this drink..The stalls tepi jalan sells something like this from RM 2..so yes we paid only RM 4 for my ice blended watermelon juice and habibs ice blended chocolate banana shake.

For dinner we both had the best pineapple fried rice that we both have ever had.MashaAllah..just look at the picture, you can see how much stuff they put in the rice to make it more sedap... we could not believe it. and i tell you i will go krabi again in a heartbit just to eat this fried rice...
we also had telur dadar and fried chicken slice..yummy yummy..now some of you must be asking, why did we eat chicken at Thailand????or perhaps not..hehee...
Tadaaa, because this place is HALAL (at the arrow)..its located right opposite black canyon restaurant at Aonang, which of course is also halal..we had lunch at black canyon , but i forgot to take pictures there..but surprisingly considering blank canyon is thai food, tapi i still prefer the ones at malaysia ..taste kat thailand lain sikit..also their ice tea is not strong enough for me and terlalu byk susu..

look at that plate of fried rice below, fyi those green things are not veges, they are chillies. My goddess this rice was so0000000000 pedas, habib was sweating like crazy, by far the MOST pedas food i have ever tasted, but sgt sgt sedap still.
oh ya we also had dinner at the hotel as part of our honeymoon package, we were not looking forward for the dinner, sbb hotel food selalu ok ok only..but mashaAllah. for the first night we had BBQ dinenr....look at the basket..imagine all that for 2 of us to eat..on top of that, they gave us spaghetti 2 plates k..one each..2 plates of salad, and 2 bowls of seafood tomyam..

For the 2nd night they gave us dinner with 6 lauk yup i;m saying it again 6 lauk + delicious coconut dessert.omg it was mashaAllah even better than our BBQ dinner...but i didnt take any picture, really i'm not the best photographer..hehehe...and the ones yg we tak habis, can you believe it, they let us bring it to our room..so we finished them during supper..Alhamdulillah...Food at the hotels so sedap mahsaAllah..and Alhamdulillah because the kitchen is confirmed HALAL..we both had a good time enjoying the ayams & dagings...Like i mentioned earlier; all the extra money we spent on choosing to stay here, just for the halal food, to us was absolutely worth it..Alhamdulillah...

ok after that the 4th and 5th night we had dinner at the muslims stalls along Aonang street...most of them show their halal sign very clear..this places best sbb its very cheap..imagine 1 meal like the picture display below is only RM 4.50 for nasi with lauk and RM3.50 for phad thai..plus the RM2 ice blended drink..so yes dinner for both of us total is only RM12

oh we surveyed around so many stalls and makan so byk at different2 stalls, different2 meals..but this aunty had the best food..remember her face, if you do go aonang..her stall is in front of 7-11, McDonalds and subway sandwich (but both of this places tak halal)
This is how the stalls are lined up, ada 2 sides, one nearer to Red ginger hotel side, and lagi satu near to McDonalds side..the best part is, our hotel is smack in the middle, so we can choose nak go left side or right side..

ok finally my favoritest of All...the pancakes..the locals call them rotee..(yes for us is roti a.k.a bread)..this thing is like roti chanai bread..added with different2 flavours...My fav of all time is banana and chocolate price RM2-3..i think total i had maybe 10 of these on my own..i try them from different2 stalls...but the picture below is my fav stall..because she is the only one yg masak guna butter instead of minyak..yes girls imagine how yummy they taste..her stall pun always penuh..its located on the right side of Aonang Princeville hotel..so kiranya if we come out from the hotel we go left, but if you are standing facing the hotel its on the right side..again remember her face..hehehe...please anybody yg pergi Aonang..this is def a MUST...

in conclusion..me and habib had A WHOLE LOAD of fun with food here....mashaAllah...we def makan more than shopped..hehehe.....everything i posted here is sedap..hehehe..I love my honeymoon..me and habib will def go krabi again..yes girls because of the food....hehhehehe....

sabby

Makeup during nikah

5 years ago, when my sis got married, she took sue for her makeup artist, and my sister looked the most beautiful i have seen her ever..mashaAllah....

so 5 years ago, i knew i wanted to take sue for my makeup as well...so kiranya i planned this even before i met habib himself...its one of those things that has been at the back of my head..after i booked my hall, the first person i called was sue, to book (that time 20th Feb 2010 was suppose to be my reception at the hall..not nikah..I planned 19th Feb to nikah at the Dewan of the Masjid opposite the hall, but as always we can only plan, in the end Allah SWT determines what actually happens)

Many has asked which is better, lova or sue??..well to be honest i can't really compare yet, sbb hari tu lova makeup very simple, for dinner je..nanti by my reception in July inshaAllah i will do a full review on the makeovers...

but the only problem is because sue cantik is indeed a "HE", so i had to cover up during the makeup session, hence it was a bit uncomfortable...so for both my functions in July, i'm taking female makeup artist..hehe..then no need to cover up during makeup..more comfy for me i guess...

Henna/Inai and its hukum in Islam

I have to do this entry, because after posting my henna on my hand, i have received a few emails saying concern about the hukum of ukiran henna on my hand...

and the best part is, me and our beautiful blogger Fathiyah, actually discussed about this before my wedding...

A while ago there was an article by datuk Abu Hassan, that shocked everyone when he mentioned that patern henna is haram...I got a shocked because i've been wearing henna non stop at my toe nails for years now, and many times i just add some patern on it, just for the fun of it....So i had to do more research on it to find out what is the hukum henna in Islam

During the time of our Prophet SAW, Henna was used very widely...Rasulullah SAW sangat menggalakkan untuk guna inai, to put on the head, or skin..kebanyakkan penggunaan because Henna/inai ada health qualities.

Below is some example of many2 hadith (tapi mmg ada byk lagi, i ambil 2 je.. yg Rasulullah SAW galakkan...

Umm Salma (R) narrates: "In the life of Prophet Muhammed (Pbuh), no injury or thorn piercing was treated on which Henna was not applied." (Tirmidhi, Sanad Ahmed)

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: A woman made a sign from behind a curtain to indicate that she had a letter for the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) closed his hand, saying: I do not know this is a man's or a woman's hand. She said: No, a woman. He SAW said: If you were a woman, you would make a difference to your nails, meaning with henna.  (Book #33, Hadith #4154

p/s:because of this hadith I think men should stay away from decorative henna and maintain using it for health reasons example henna on the hair but not on the hands during weddings

Because I'm a heavy user of inai, i dah tanya beberapa pendapat from great scholars a few Islamic scholars, all educated from Madinah, that follows Islam according to Quran and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad SAW , ini yang i fahamkan daripada jawapan diorg...

Inai is sangat berbeza dari tatoo. Tatoo memang haram, Memang Allah SWT dah terang2 haramkan tusukkan at our skin, dgn sebab wudu' and memudaratkkan. Uztaz also mention, kita tidak boleh samakan hukum inai dengan hukum tatoo. Tatoo lukisan kekal tapi inai hanya sementara. Jika ada creatif lukisan corak2, pada uztaz tiada masalah. He also mention, not even once Rasulullah SAW menyamakan inai and tatoo.

Bagi hadith yg dipetik oleh Uztaz Abu Hassan tu, if you read it again pun, terang2 kat hadith to mention perempuan yang dilaknat Allah SWT is yang mengukir dengan tusukan(alat pengukir), hence this hadith is more on tatoo not Henna drawing...He went on saying, When it comes to hukum Haram, Allah SWT always explains it in specific, jarang hukum haramnya yg  tak mention in detail in Islam..Like in this issue,Tatoo memang disebut haram, but if you read every single hadith about henna in Islam, esp hadith sahiih, is All on penggunaan Henna by the muslims during the time of Rasulullah SAW...

Greats scholars also mention that we should never haramkan apa yg Allah swt halalkan, esp yang baik utk kesihatan like henna and Kohl untuk mata...

Having said all of this, that is why, lukisan henna on hands and leg is widely done by the female Arabs esp kat saudi esp during Raya...Ada yg cakap, tak boleh sebab menyerupai adat India, on the contrary, Henna origins came from middle east, after a few abad baru it went to India, and south Asia...

Allah Knows best...

May All muslims stay away from All Amalan Bidaah ans esp syirk, and follow Islam, according to the Quran and the teachings of our Propher Muhammad SAW. Amiiin....

Wassalam,
sabby

p/s: anil is right, corak henna of binatang and humans mmg NOT ALLOWED...also if anybody yg jumpa any hadith yg mention than henna is haram, do email me k...

Nikah concept

I have received a few emails asking about the nikah concept..hehehe so here goes.

and yes girls, i did nikah in a hall....

actually the whole idea came from my sister and mum...during my sisters wedding, instead of nikah separately, she decided to do a nikah at the hall itself, so we had the nikah on the stage, and all the guests we seated comfortably on the chairs at their assigned tables..(please bear in mind, we do not have a house big enough to accommodate a nikah function nor can we blocked the road in front of our house because its a main road, and I didn't nikah in the mosque because i'm scared that I myself won't be able to enter the mosque if I'm menstruating, so with all respect to the Mosque)

her wedding was
11am: nikah
12-4pm: walimah
1pm: ketibaan pengantin
all at the same hall. ketibaan pengantin seems awal and ramai takut hall kosong, the best part is, the hall was already full because of the guests that came for the nikah..

and mashaAllah that concept worked out really well, sbb everyone was comfortable, and could see the nikah very clearly instead of having live feed(which can be rather expensive).and it was so easy for our family to organise it...and the money we saved..mashaAllah.....

so for my nikah, we wanted to continue doing nikah in a hall...which we find the most convenient.

after watching ayat2 cinta, i was like yes, this time i want to do the nikah smack in the middle of the hall..i asked quotation from like 5 different decorators, and some of them tak faham my concept..so i had a lot of trouble finding a suitable one...

finally, we were like why not we just try nas,..

mashaAllah, when i met nas and explained my whole nikah comcept he straight away gave this whole gazebo idea tgh2 hall..i was so happy.finally somebody understood what i wanted...to make things better he said he just met another couple who is also doing a nikah at the hall, which turned out it was someone i knew and she had an amazing all white nikah at the hall as well...
and the best part, because the hall has high ceiling, so the gazebo concept fits just nice..mashaAllah...

so finally that part was settled...

timing for the wedding is,
11am: akad nikah
12-2pm: makan

2nd time nikah in the hall, worked well as well..so for my adik, when she told my mum she wanted to get married, all of us was like..ok lets find a HALL for your nikah..hehehe...

Its called rezeki not luck..

I have received a few emails about the nikah that i had...which alhamdulillah I'm so grateful for everything....but there was 1 email that's still in my mind..

this girl email just to say how much she envies my life, and how i had a perfect wedding...and how lucky i am for everything.......

so now i'm going to tell a story about rezeki...Allah swt is very fair to all his ummah with his rezeki..there is nothing in life comes from luck...if you feel your friend is lucky because she is rich, trust me, dalam Islam terang2 Allah SWT dah explain, you work hard ,Allah SWT will reward...but she must have spent her life, mostly with the maid bringing her up or alone because parents are too busy making money...

if you feel your friend is lucky coz she is really pretty, trust me behind that beauty there is uglyness..like she may have a bad personality, In one of the hadith Rasulullah SAW mentioned, if you marry someone for her beauty, then you will only get her beauty, but Allah swt cannot promise happiness..but Allah SWT promise, if you want happiness in marriage find a wife that is close to Allah swt and will help the husband to bring him closer to Allah swt and vice versa...

The journey of my life has been more tough than easy..and Allah swt has been very fair to me about not giving me a perfect life..and poeple that are close to me will know that...

1 of biggest lesson i have learnt from my mother is to accept rezeki masing2.. some Allah swt give them money but not happiness..while others Allah SWT may give happiness but not money..and others of course, but either way, Allah swt has promised in fairness within all the ummah...and we as muslims should always believe that...Life is full of dugaan..and all this dugaan is to see whether we become closer to Allah swt or syaitan...

happiness comes from within...its what we make out of  our on life...because we can never be happy with what we have, if we keep wanting what other people have..please remember that girls...Be appreciative with what we already have in life...then mashaAllah you will find yourself having a sense of peace within you...

Having a nikah like mine, does not guarantee me happiness in my marriage...having the most beautiful wedding, does not give anybody easy happiness in life...look at celebrity weddings for example, they have everything, money, looks, and million dollar weddings, and yet they are not happy...and get divorce after a very short period of time...

A happy marriage, comes from alot of effort from both sides..inshaAllah..May Allah swt, bless us with baraqah and happiniess in our marriage..

I just want to say don't envy for what others have, because you don't know the story behind it...

for myself it took me years of dugaan filled with cheatings, lies, heartbreaks even physical abuse and death before even meeting my hubby now...

even after we met, like everyone else, there are up and downs to every relationship...

and that my dear girls is the reality of life

wassalam,

sabby

Krabi honeymoon - Aonang princeville

Oh my..i owe so many entries,I'm def going through a bloggers block (my own version of a writers block) hehehe, hence why i haven't been updating......

but i'm def going to start with my honeymoon first...while waiting for pictures for my official photographer...

MashaAllah we had a pretty amazing honeymoon in krabi...it started of pretty amazing as well..as we reached LCCT we bumped to or famous blogger WLT....we were on the same flight..we said hi, and both had to apologise for not going to each others wedding coz they both fell on the same day...WLT sempat gave her wedding favour..thank you so much dear.

when i got in the plane, i so happy because my 1 friend who is working in air asia was the head cabin crew for the flight..of course kiotrg dpt special treatment sikit....hehehe...

flight to krabi is short only 1 hour and 15 mins..its one of those flight, where just afer you finish your meal, when I'm about to fall asleep for my short nap, plane dah nak land..hehehehe

when we got there, there was a hotel transfer waiting for us..can you imagine just the 2 of us, in such a big van..i was looking for WLT to say bye, tapi tak nampak..so off we left the airport...it took us about 20 mins to sampai the hotel...

...ohh before i forget, i choose Aonang Princeville for our honeymoon because its the only certified halal hotel i could find in aonang.. from the pictures i saw the hotel was so-so ..the reviews from tripadvisor pun not so great..so i went with very low expectations of the hotel...also we took the cheapest room, because this hotel is quite pricey comparing if you take goholiday package, but as always for me halal food is more important than anything, it was a sacrifice we both were more than willing to make...because we both LLLOOOVE food..heheheh

check in was smooth...they straight away knew who we were...so terus they brought us to our room...

when i opened the door, i was like ehhh... i didnt pay for this room....guess what girls????....they upgraded us to the most expansive room of the hotel..the honeymoon suite..i was sooooooooooo happy...habib smiled at me...from his face i can tell he was telling me, see told you everything is going to be ok....mashaAllah, i can only thank Allah swt for all the good things that happen during our honeymoon...

this is the pickup van..so besar kan....this was me at the entrance of the hotel...
for fun just wanted to show my inai before honeymoon..by the 3rd day in krabi, everything dah hilang...so sad...

Not that they just upgraded our room, they did the whole honeymoon flower deco as well...for 6 days we were there, they gave us nothing but good service...on top our the 3 island trips, which of course will be my next entry, they also gave us free dinner for 2 nights...and free spa for 90 mins for the both of us...
Our room was full with everything we needed...we even had 2 flat screen 32inch TV 1 at the bed, the other one at the lounge...hehehe...fruits everyday dapat free..in the room pun ada kiblat finder plus they provided us with 2 sejadah...
...room is the same standart as Avilion in PD.....my pictures are from my digi cam, so tak cantik sgt...
Location of this hotel is the best...we were right opposite the aonang beach, and smack in the middle of aonang street...we can either walk to the left or right, and both sides got so many things to explore...

MashaAllah..i was soooo happy staying here...we ate like crazy....
price for our total 6 days, for whoever that is interested, kindly e-mail me...

oh ya, just for your info, i tak beli the package though matta fair or air asia...i e-mailed the hotel straight, and they customed a package according to my length of stay and activities that we wanted to do...

p/s: after this i will do entry on food, shopping and island hoping trip in krabi...
