Krabi honeymoon - Aonang Princeville Package

To date, the most frequent question I get is regarding my honeymoon trip to Krabi....I think it's time for me to share it with everyone, for easy reference...

“ Honeymoon Package”

 Aonang Princeville Resort & Spa  6 Days 5 Night from 22 till 27 Feb 2010 

Price for the 5 nights Honeymoon Package at Aonang Princeville Resort  30,000  baht per package for 2 person (please take note that this is during of peak season in 2010 *price varies according to year and season)

Day 1
-Transfer from Krabi Airport  for  Sight Seeing at Krabi Area 

-15.00 am.   Check In at  Aonang Princeville Resort  stay at  Deluxe Room and set flower in room.

-Relaxing as per your leisure time

Day 2
- 07.30-08.00 am .Morning Breakfast at The Whtie Orchid  

-Island tour for 4 islands for snorkeling, sightseeing to Phranang Cave, Tub Island, Chicken Island and Poda Island by speed boat.

-19.00 pm. A romantic  seafood   set dinner  at White Orchid   Restaurant

Day 3

-Morning Breakfast at White Orchid Restaurant

-08.45-08.30 am Trip to Phi Phi  Islands visit for Bamboo Island  ,Hin Klang Island ,Monkey Beach, Phi Phi Don, Phi Phi Leh  and Maya Bay for snorkeling

-19.00 pm . Thai set dinner at White Orchid restaurant .

Day 4

- 07.30-08.00 am  Morning Breakfast at White Orchid Restaurant

- 08.00-08.30 am Trip to Hong Island by speed boat visit Hong Island’s Lagoon ,Pakbia Island  Lading Island and Hong  Island bay.

-Relaxing as per your leisure time

Day 5

-- 07.30-08.00 am  Morning Breakfast at White Orchid Restaurant

Alright so total we paid for  6 days is RM 3k =THB 30k. It can be concluded that roughly is RM 500 for each day, and the best price includes everything in this package.

I had 2 options, between airasia package and this one, I picked this because, they had included extra spa and 2 candle light dinner at the same price air asia 5 nights package.

Also i secretly hoped, if I informed the Hotel that we were on our honeymoon, that they would upgrade us...Alhamdulillah which they did. Hotels will only upgrade you (if they want to) if you book with them directly, bookings done via travel agent, matta fair and website, usually they don't give that personal touch...

anyway all the best, for those interested with Krabi honeymoon...because being an Island lover, i have to say, I fully recommend this holiday.

 p/s: The best part of our Krabi honeymoon is Phi Phi island trip...Kalau pergi Krabi, tak pergi Phi Phi is such a waste. Snorkeling here is one of the most beautiful places i've ever seen, even if I want to compare if it with my previous experience snorkeling at Redang, Tioman, Perhentian and Sabah.

Krabi honeymoon - Aonang princeville

Oh my..i owe so many entries,I'm def going through a bloggers block (my own version of a writers block) hehehe, hence why i haven't been updating......

but i'm def going to start with my honeymoon first...while waiting for pictures for my official photographer...

MashaAllah we had a pretty amazing honeymoon in krabi...it started of pretty amazing as well..as we reached LCCT we bumped to or famous blogger WLT....we were on the same flight..we said hi, and both had to apologise for not going to each others wedding coz they both fell on the same day...WLT sempat gave her wedding favour..thank you so much dear.

when i got in the plane, i so happy because my 1 friend who is working in air asia was the head cabin crew for the flight..of course kiotrg dpt special treatment sikit....hehehe...

flight to krabi is short only 1 hour and 15 mins..its one of those flight, where just afer you finish your meal, when I'm about to fall asleep for my short nap, plane dah nak land..hehehehe

when we got there, there was a hotel transfer waiting for us..can you imagine just the 2 of us, in such a big van..i was looking for WLT to say bye, tapi tak nampak..so off we left the airport...it took us about 20 mins to sampai the hotel...

...ohh before i forget, i choose Aonang Princeville for our honeymoon because its the only certified halal hotel i could find in aonang.. from the pictures i saw the hotel was so-so ..the reviews from tripadvisor pun not so great..so i went with very low expectations of the hotel...also we took the cheapest room, because this hotel is quite pricey comparing if you take goholiday package, but as always for me halal food is more important than anything, it was a sacrifice we both were more than willing to make...because we both LLLOOOVE food..heheheh

check in was smooth...they straight away knew who we were...so terus they brought us to our room...

when i opened the door, i was like ehhh... i didnt pay for this room....guess what girls????....they upgraded us to the most expansive room of the hotel..the honeymoon suite..i was sooooooooooo happy...habib smiled at me...from his face i can tell he was telling me, see told you everything is going to be ok....mashaAllah, i can only thank Allah swt for all the good things that happen during our honeymoon...

for fun just wanted to show my inai before honeymoon..by the 3rd day in krabi, everything dah hilang...so sad...

Not that they just upgraded our room, they did the whole honeymoon flower deco as well...for 6 days we were there, they gave us nothing but good service...on top our the 3 island trips, which of course will be my next entry, they also gave us free dinner for 2 nights...and free spa for 90 mins for the both of us...

Our room was full with everything we needed...we even had 2 flat screen 32inch TV 1 at the bed, the other one at the lounge...hehehe...fruits everyday dapat free..in the room pun ada kiblat finder plus they provided us with 2 sejadah...
...room is the same standart as Avilion in PD.....my pictures are from my digi cam, so tak cantik sgt...

Location of this hotel is the best...we were right opposite the aonang beach, and smack in the middle of aonang street...we can either walk to the left or right, and both sides got so many things to explore...

MashaAllah..i was soooo happy staying here...we ate like crazy....

price for our total 6 days, for whoever that is interested, kindly e-mail me...

oh ya, just for your info, i tak beli the package though matta fair or air asia...i e-mailed the hotel straight, and they customed a package according to my length of stay and activities that we wanted to do...

Krabi honeymoon - Delicious FOOD

I've been meaning to write my part 2 and part 3 entry on krabi, ok here goes.. Oh me and habib had a lot of fun with the food here..mashaAllah...we both gained so weight by the end of the honeymoon..hehehe...But it was all worth it..Alhamdulillah...

Alright i shall start with this drink..The stalls tepi jalan sells something like this from RM 2..so yes we paid only RM 4 for my ice blended watermelon juice and habibs ice blended chocolate banana shake.

For dinner we both had the best pineapple fried rice that we both have ever had.MashaAllah..just look at the picture, you can see how much stuff they put in the rice to make it more sedap... we could not believe it. and i tell you i will go krabi again in a heartbit just to eat this fried rice...

we also had telur dadar and fried chicken slice..yummy yummy..now some of you must be asking, why did we eat chicken at Thailand????or perhaps not..hehee...

Tadaaa, because this place is HALAL (at the arrow)..its located right opposite black canyon restaurant at Aonang, which of course is also halal..we had lunch at black canyon , but i forgot to take pictures there..but surprisingly considering blank canyon is thai food, tapi i still prefer the ones at malaysia ..taste kat thailand lain sikit..also their ice tea is not strong enough for me and terlalu byk susu..

look at that plate of fried rice below, fyi those green things are not veges, they are chillies. My goddess this rice was so0000000000 pedas, habib was sweating like crazy, by far the MOST pedas food i have ever tasted, but sgt sgt sedap still.

oh ya we also had dinner at the hotel as part of our honeymoon package, we were not looking forward for the dinner, sbb hotel food selalu ok ok only..but mashaAllah. for the first night we had BBQ dinenr....look at the basket..imagine all that for 2 of us to eat..on top of that, they gave us spaghetti 2 plates k..one each..2 plates of salad, and 2 bowls of seafood tomyam.. 

For the 2nd night they gave us dinner with 6 lauk yup i;m saying it again 6 lauk + delicious coconut dessert.omg it was mashaAllah even better than our BBQ dinner...but i didnt take any picture, really i'm not the best photographer..hehehe...and the ones yg we tak habis, can you believe it, they let us bring it to our room..so we finished them during supper..Alhamdulillah...Food at the hotels so sedap mahsaAllah..and Alhamdulillah because the kitchen is confirmed HALAL..we both had a good time enjoying the ayams & dagings...Like i mentioned earlier; all the extra money we spent on choosing to stay here, just for the halal food, to us was absolutely worth it..Alhamdulillah...

  

ok after that the 4th and 5th night we had dinner at the muslims stalls along Aonang street...most of them show their halal sign very clear..this places best sbb its very cheap..imagine 1 meal like the picture display below is only RM 4.50 for nasi with lauk and RM3.50 for phad thai..plus the RM2 ice blended drink..so yes dinner for both of us total is only RM12

oh we surveyed around so many stalls and makan so byk at different2 stalls, different2 meals..but this aunty had the best food..remember her face, if you do go aonang..her stall is in front of 7-11, McDonalds and subway sandwich (but both of this places tak halal)

This is how the stalls are lined up, ada 2 sides, one nearer to Red ginger hotel side, and lagi satu near to McDonalds side..the best part is, our hotel is smack in the middle, so we can choose nak go left side or right side..

ok finally my favoritest of All...the pancakes..the locals call them rotee..(yes for us is roti a.k.a bread)..this thing is like roti chanai bread..added with different2 flavours...My fav of all time is banana and chocolate price RM2-3..i think total i had maybe 10 of these on my own..i try them from different2 stalls...but the picture below is my fav stall..because she is the only one yg masak guna butter instead of minyak..yes girls imagine how yummy they taste..her stall pun always penuh..its located on the right side of Aonang Princeville hotel..so kiranya if we come out from the hotel we go left, but if you are standing facing the hotel its on the right side..again remember her face..hehehe...please anybody yg pergi Aonang..this is def a MUST...

in conclusion..me and habib had A WHOLE LOAD of fun with food here....mashaAllah...we def makan more than shopped..hehehe.....everything i posted here is sedap..hehehe..I love my honeymoon..me and habib will def go krabi again..yes girls because of the food....hehhehehe....

Alhamdulillah

Firstly i want to say Alhamdulillah for my nikah..mashaAllah everything went pleasantly...I'm just so happy..

also i want to give loads and loads of gratitude to all the bloggers that came..mashaAllah i was so shocked to see so many of you all there..thank you sooooooo much for coming...i can't thank enough...

Me and habib just got back from our beautiful honeymoon at krabi..mashaAllah..we had an amazing holiday, i would def do a few entries on the honeymoon first...

Alhamdulillah since everything went well, alhmadulillah from my very pleasant nikah experience, all of the vendors i took is fully reccomended..alhamdulillah..hehehe...


quick update for now..i will elaborate on them asap.

Nikah checklist (updated )

Well since our reception inshaAllah is much later, I figured its better to just have a nikah checklist first...reception checklist will be uploaded much much later...

ohhh I'm also having a small makan2 after nikah for my friends, then i dont have to do a seperate function..heheh..save money...inshaAllah...
the reception mainly will be for my parents friends, we have found the place..hhehe..me and mum so far very happy with their service..they just want us to finalise the food..(yes my food in July 2010 dah settle , nikah belum settle lagi)

Kursus kahwin:
Done at Jais shah alam..--> sgt tak best ..my brother went to al-nidaa' in Taman tun he said is soo much better...

Nikah legal stuff:
Borang sudah upload..
-HIV settled at klinik komuniti in kelana jaya...all done within one hour..alhamdulillah no drama here.
-Habib has settles all his forms and passed them to me,but i still hvnt done mine, because my imam is on holiday till next week...

Konon i said i was not going to have one...finally i decided to at least have videography for my nikah..went to see potential vediographer yesterday(psst, anil he show me your wedding video..sgt sweet ok..i loove ur nikah makeup)..hmm but still surveying around for the best rates.serious we are spending so much for a day..sometimes i feel so guilty........

Outfit
Mine : fitting this sunday..ohh so nervous...
Habib: Sent it to my fav tailor and its all done, alhamdulillah its safely with him..cutting of the baju is amazing...
Family: yay finally mum and sisters sent their baju...hehe..no need to harass them anymore..

Makeup:
deposit paid...will call to remind them about the function..

Location:
settled alhamdulillah...but it comes bare..but i love the place...

Sound system:
still none, anyone can reccommend?

Decorator:
Alhamdulillah met with the decorator...concept dah agree,decorator now so busy, seriouly every vendor is busy this month..heish., so still belum finalise the design....

Catering:
Booked, but menu has not been finalise...again they say december is a busy month.urgh...

Favours:
I'm giving away a few wedding favours on the day itself...
Family: all sudah finalise and ordered....
Habibs family: they are getting extra, since they are our guests, still hvnt call the vendor to order..
Children & friends: chocolates
Choc Dates after nikah: found a website that sells it....marryme gift and such, she posted the sample choc and it tasted good...will order in Jan 2010 inshaAllah

Cards:
finally approved for printing...I'll be inviting my friends for makan2 after the nikah(since my reception is only mid year), so cards for my friends i decided to just do on my own, because its so mahal for me to print the same card but just tukar the timing...

Hantaran:
InshaAllah they will do my hantaran cantik-cantik..me and habib decided on 3 dulang only and i will also balas 3...
habib is giving ring, mas kahwin and 1 persalinan baju
I'm giving ring, cake and sejadah...

Ring:
booked my ring, i loove my ring..its slighty diff then what i initially wanted...now looking for his...

Spa:
still hvnt booked my spa..lately my skin has been so sensitive, i'm so scared to go...


Inai:
This aunty from brickfields does amazing inai...very very detail..she does housecalls...

Hand bouquet:
also from them....service diorg tiptop..all my silly questions that I email dilayan..oh thanks soo much Amy...

Corsages
sis decided she wants to do it, because mum wants to make it personal...

Balloons:
Yes we usually prepare helium balloons for the kids..to keep them entertained..so far its been a hit...of course it will be in pink and white....

Sign boards:
were having our nikah at a new place..and takut my family from jauh don't know the way, so i think its best we put a few signboards here and there...bunga maggar, will just buy from shah alam or something...

and finally, my fave....

Honeymoon:
yay booked our flight to krabi...we decided to stay there for a week...i wanted to get the goholiday package because its soooo much cheaper...but me and habib gatal nak change2 hotels..so ended up booking with the hotels straight...nasib baik ada honeymoon package..plus they also included all the island hoping package..yay so no need to worry so much..ohh i dah e-mail them about halal food in advace...inshaAllah food pun dah settle...airport tranfers, and hotel transfer pun sudah arrange..alhamdulillah...

InshaAllah I will anounce my vendors bila sudah confirm, or at least deposit paid..still ada a few yg tak finalise lagi..hmm...
