Yes u read it right. Im really paranoid with safety issues,which my mum has reminded me time & time again... I have to be yakin with the power of doa...astaghfirullah.....May Allah SWT bless me by strengthening my iman and all us muslim brothers n sisters

So anyway today alhamdulillah i have fix those alphabet mats all over my room floor. Padding just incase baby boy slip n fall.

I need to buy just a little bit more to filll in the whole room floor.

Yay now baby boy has more freedom to play.

9 Months

Alhamdulillah baby boy is 9 months now. MashaAllah super active.

We just finished taking out our bed frame, now mattress is on the floor, coz baby boy loves to play at the edges of the bed. He fell of the bed once. n alhamdulillah many times nak jatuh but manage to catch him.

We also hv to stop putting him in the walker coz he knows how to climb out the walker...aduh....boys!

Baby boy looves to play.hehehehe. He is just growing up so fast...alhamdulillah

durian crazy

i was just talking to nadnaddy about durian, so here i am writting a post on durian..

let me say i use to be one of those that absolutely hates durian..i cant even stand the smell...like i use to wonder why people go crazy over durian...the moment i see people eat durian at my house, i will just walk away..or stay in my room..mmg i wont stick around to smell the durian aroma...

until one day(about 6 weeks ago) it was Jcard day at the newly renovated jusco at one utama...i went to jusco coz i wanted to buy organic baby food for my baby boy, lepas tu they said only for j card members...im like UUUURGHHHH, fine there n then i applied for the card, coz my baby was hungry, n i have to feed him...cold storage mahal sgt pulak, n its a new wing...jauuuuhhh....

while we were there, i saw hubby looking at the durian...i said ' no way"..coz he just had so many at kuantan...coz we just came back from a weekend at kuantan...he was like ala 1 packet only...im like ' fine make sure they pack it properly so the car tak bau'... n it was his rezeki, suddenly they did promo at the durian stall...buy 1 durian raja kunyit, free 1 packet.so its RM 50 for 2 packets..( yes believe it people, that durian is rm 50 for like 6 ulas je)

n then we went home.....n was i complaining,,,i was like ur durian is mahal like patchi/godiva chocolates...coz im a chocoholic..so i LLLLOOOOOOVVVEEEE dark chocolates...

n he said., why not u give it a try?...i said, of course not...n then he took a bite...and i saw hubby's face,..i asked 'sedap sgt ke???' he was like omg..yes its really that good...the ulas is so big, but the biji is small n leper..its all just full of isi..i was like ok lah..i will try some..n then i ate it...and after the first bite i was like
" OMGoodness, this is soooo sedap"..subhanallah the greatnees of Allah SWT creation...no wonder its the king of fruits...

n guess what, ive been eating durian ever since..almost every few days me and hubby will buy durian...now i can say hubby's biggest mistake is to let me try the most expensive/good durian ...coz now i keep craving for that durian...

my baby boy pun loooves durian..hehehe....9 months pun dah pandai makan..but he will hisap sikit2 only...

10 ways to avoid marrying the wrong person (also a good reminder for the married ones)

There is a right way and a wrong way to get to know someone for marriage. The wrong way is to get caught up in the excitement and nuance of a budding relationship and in the process completely forget to ask the critical questions that help determine compatibility. One of the biggest mistakes that many young Muslims make is rushing into marriage without properly and thoroughly getting to know someone. A common myth is that the duration of a courtship is an accurate enough measure of how compatible two people are. The logic follows that the longer you speak with someone, the better you will know them. The problem with that premise is that no consideration is given to how that time is spent. Increasingly, young Muslim couples are engaging in “halal dating,” which is basically socializing with each other in the company of friends and/or family. This includes going out to dinner, watching a movie, playing some sport or other leisure activity, etc. Depending on the family or culture, conversations are either minimal & chaperoned or worse, unrestricted and unsupervised. When you consider these limitations it makes one wonder when exactly, if ever at all, would the critical conversations take place? Unfortunately, for many, the answer is never and they live to suffer the consequences. If you or someone you know is in the “getting to know someone” phase, the following guide offers advice on exactly what to look for and avoid:

1) Do Not Marry Potential: Oftentimes men consider marrying a woman hoping she never changes while a woman considers marrying a man she hopes she can change. This is the wrong approach on both accounts. Don’t assume that you can change a person after you’re married to them or that they will reach their potential. There is no guarantee, after all, that those changes will be for the better. In fact, it’s often for the worse. If you can’t accept someone or imagine living with them as they are then don’t marry them. These differences can include a number of things such as ideological or practical differences in religion, habits, hygiene, communication skills, etc.

2) Choose Character over Chemistry: While chemistry and attraction are no doubt important, character precedes them both. A famous quote follows, “Chemistry ignites the fire, but character keeps it burning.” The idea of falling “in love” should never be the sole reason for marrying someone; it is very easy to confuse infatuation and lust for love. The most important character traits to look for include humility, kindness, responsibility, & happiness. Here’s a breakdown of each trait:

Humility: The humble person never makes demands of people but rather always does right by them. They put their values and principles above convenience and comfort. They are slow to anger, are modest, and avoid materialism.
Kindness: The kind person is the quintessential giver. They seek to please and minimize the pain of others. To know if a person is a giver, observe how they treat their family, siblings, and parents. Do they have gratitude towards their parents for all that they’ve done for them? If not, then know that they will never appreciate what you do for them. How do they treat people they don’t have to be kind towards (i.e. waiters, sales associates, employees, etc)? How do they spend their money? How do they deal with anger; their own anger and their reaction to someone else’s anger?
Responsibility: A responsible person has stability in their finances, relationships, job, and character. You can you rely on this person and trust what they say.
Happiness: A happy person is content with their portion in life. They feel good about themselves and good about their life. They focus on what they have rather than on what they don’t have. They very rarely complain.
3) Do Not Neglect The Emotional Needs of Your Partner: Both men and women have emotional needs and in order for a partnership to be successful those needs must be mutually met. The fundamental emotional need of a woman is to be loved. The fundamental emotional need of a man is to be respected and appreciated. To make a woman feel loved give her the three AAAs: Attention, Affection, & Appreciation. To make a man feel loved give him the three RRRs: Respect, Reassurance, & Relief. It is the obligation of each partner to make sure the other is happy and this extends to intimacy as well. As long as each partner is fulfilled by the emotional needs of the other, the intimate relationship will thrive. When a man takes seriously the emotional needs of his wife she will feel more encouraged to fulfill his sexual desires. Likewise, when a woman takes seriously the emotional needs of her husband he will feel more encouraged to give her the affection, love and appreciation she wants from him. Working together in this way encourages both giving and receiving.

4) Avoid Opposing Life Plans: In marriage you can either grow together or grow apart. Sharing a common purpose in life will increase the chance that you will grow together.

You must know what the person is into. In other words, what are they ultimately passionate about? Then ask yourself, “Do I respect this passion?” “Do I respect what they are into?”
The more specifically you define yourself, i.e., your values, your beliefs, your lifestyle, the better chance you have of finding your life partner, your soul mate, the one you are most compatible with.
Remember, before you decide who to take along on a trip, you should first figure out your destination.
5) Avoid Pre-Marital Sexual/Physical Activity:

Recognize that there is incredible wisdom in why God has ordered us to refrain from intimacy before marriage; they are to prevent great harms as well as to keep sacred what is the most blessed part of a relationship between a man and a woman.
Aside from the obvious spiritual consequences, when a relationship gets physical before its time, important issues like character, life philosophy, and compatibility go to the wayside. Consequently, everything is romanticized and it becomes difficult to even remember the important issues let alone talk about them.
Intellectual commitment must be established before emotional or sexual commitment.
6) Avoid Lack of Emotional Connection: There are four questions that you must answer YES to:

Do I respect and admire this person? What specifically do I respect and admire about this person?
Do I trust this person? Can I rely on them? Do I trust their judgment? Do I trust their word? Can I believe what they say?
Do I feel Safe? Do I feel emotionally safe with this person? Can I be vulnerable? Can I be myself? Can I be open? Can I express myself?
Do I feel calm and at peace with this person?
If the answer is “I don’t know, I’m not sure, etc.” keep evaluating until you know for sure and truly understand how you feel. If you don’t feel safe now, you won’t feel safe when you are married. If you don’t trust now, this won’t change when you are married!

7) Pay Attention to Your Own Emotional Anxiety: Choosing someone you don’t feel safe with emotionally is not a good recipe for a long-lasting and loving marriage. Feeling emotionally safe is the foundation of a strong and healthy marriage. When you don’t feel safe, you can’t express your feelings and opinions. Learn how to identify whether you are in an abusive relationship. If you feel you always have to monitor what you say, if you are with someone and you feel you can’t really express yourself and are always walking on eggshells, then it’s very likely you are in an abusive relationship. Look for the following things:

Controlling behavior: This includes controlling the way you act, the way you think, the way you dress, the way you wear your hair/hijab and the way you spend your time. Know the difference between suggestions and demands. Demands are an expression of control and if the demands are implied, than you must do it or there will be consequences. All of these are clear indications of abusive personalities.
Anger issues: This is someone who raises their voice on a regular basis, who is angry, gets angry at you, uses anger against you, uses put downs, and curses at you, etc. You don’t have to put up with this type of treatment. Many people who tolerate this behavior usually come from abusive backgrounds. If this is the case with you or someone you know, get help right away. Deal with those issues before getting married or before even thinking about getting married.
Beware of Lack of Openness In Your Partner: Many couples make the mistake of not putting everything on the table for discussion from the onset. Ask yourself, “What do I need to know to be absolutely certain I want to marry this person?” “What bothers me about this person or the relationship?” It’s very important to identify what’s bothering you, things that concern you, and things you are afraid to bring up for discussion. Then you must have an honest discussion about them. This is a great way to test the strength of your relationship. Bringing up issues when there’s conflict is a great opportunity to really evaluate how well you communicate, negotiate, and work together as a team. When people get into power struggles and blame each other, it’s an indication they don’t work well as a team. Also important is being vulnerable around each other. Ask deep questions of each other and see how your partner responds. How do they handle it? Are they defensive? Do they attack? Do they withdraw? Do they get annoyed? Do they blame you? Do they ignore it? Do they hide or rationalize it? Don’t just listen to what they say but watch for how they say it!

9) Beware of Avoiding Personal Responsibility: It’s very important to remember no one else is responsible for your happiness. Many people make the mistake of thinking someone else will fulfill them and make their life better and that’s their reason for getting married. People fail to realize that if they are unhappy as a single person, they will continue to be miserable when they are married. If you are currently not happy with yourself, don’t like yourself, don’t like the direction your life is going now, it’s important to take responsibility for that now and work on improving those areas of your life before considering marriage. Don’t bring these issues into your marriage and hope your partner will fix them.

10) Watch Out For Lack of Emotional Health and Availability In Your Potential Partner: Many people choose partners that are not emotionally healthy or available. One huge problem is when a partner is unable to balance the emotional ties to family members, the marriage ends up having 3 (or more) people in it rather than two. An example of this would be if a man is overly dependent on his mother and brings that relationship into the marriage; this is no doubt a recipe for disaster. Also important to consider are the following:

Avoid people who are emotionally empty inside. These include people who don’t like themselves because they lack the ability to be emotionally available. They are always preoccupied with their deficiencies, insecurities, and negative thoughts. They are in a perpetual fight with depression, never feel good, are isolated, are critical and judgmental; tend to not have any close friends, and often distrust people or are afraid of them. Another clear indication about them is they always feel their needs are not getting met; they have a sense of entitlement and feel angry when they feel people should take care of them and they don’t. They feel burdened by other people’s needs and feel resentment towards them. These people can not be emotionally available to build healthy relationships.
Addictions can also limit the level of availability of the partner to build a strong emotional relationship. Never marry an addict. Addictions are not limited to drugs and alcohol. They can be about addictions and dependency on work, internet, hobbies, sports, shopping, money, power, status, materialism, etc. When someone has an addiction, they will not and can not be emotionally available to develop an intimate relationship with you!
Additional Points to Consider:

The fact is no one looks 25 forever. Ultimately, we love the person we marry for more than their appearance. When we get to know someone we love and admire, we’ll love them for their inner beauty and overall essence.
Once we find someone, we consciously or subconsciously want so badly for it all to work that we decide not to question or see what is clearly in front of our eyes: they were rude to the waiter, speaks ill of others, is rude to you, etc. We don’t stop to ask, “What does all of this mean about their character?”
Never separate someone from their family, background, education, belief system, etc. Asking clear questions can clarify this. Ask questions like, “What does it mean to have a simple lifestyle?” “What are your expectations of marriage?” “How would you help around the house?” Compare your definition with theirs.
Be flexible. Be open-minded!
Giving in a happy marriage should not be confused with martyrdom. It should be about taking pleasure and seeing the other person as happy because of your connection with them.
Morality and spirituality are the qualities that truly define someone in addition to beauty, money, and health. The morally upright and spiritual person will stand by your side during adversity and hardship. If someone isn’t God-conscience and doesn’t take themselves into account with God then why should you expect them to fulfill their rights owed to you? The ideal partner is someone who considers giving a gain and not causing a loss. Having a mutual and shared spiritual relationship will foster a successful marriage. Furthermore, a successful marriage is one that keeps the laws of family purity which require a certain degree of self-control and self-discipline, as well as the belief that the physical side of the relationship includes the spiritual and emotional side as well. Finding commonality and balance between the spiritual and emotional aspects of a relationship is a strong key to a healthy and thriving marriage.

Do not try to change your spouse! People always say things like; "How can you let your spouse do that?" Let him/her??? That's NOT how it is supposed to work in marriage. He/She is your spouse, not your child!

The key to succeeding in marriage is not finding the right person; it is learning to love the person you found

In relationships, we are working day and night to provide and receive:
• advice,
• support,
• good company,
• conversation,
• a sense of belonging
• security,
• shelter,
• food,
• love,
• care,
• attention.

Sadly, either these are not enough or we fail after each trial. This is because when it comes to the relationship we have with Allah(swt) many of us happily receive but never give in return. Therefore, we have to cultivate our relationship with Allah(swt) on a daily basis if we do not want to fail in life. *♥*

••• How to cope when you have learnt your spouse is unfaithful to you: •••

Have hope that your marriage can survive your spouse cheating on you. Here's what you can do to get beyond the hurt, forgive your unfaithful spouse, and save your marriage.

Here's How:

◘ Don't make any major decisions about ending your marriage now just because your spouse has been unfaithful. This is the time to do some reflection on your marriage to see what other issues other than this infidelity need to be recognized and dealt with.

◘ Feelings are neither right or wrong. Accept that your feelings of rage, uncertainty, shock, agitation, fear, pain, depression and confusion about having an unfaithful spouse are normal.

◘ Take care of yourself.

◘ Balance is the key to getting through this experience of coping with infidelity. Force yourself to eat healthy foods, to stay on a schedule, to sleep regular hours, etc.

◘ Spend some time with people who make you smile. Life goes on in spite of heartache and unfaithful spouses.

◘ Tears are healthy too.

◘ Pray to Allah to grant you endless patience to deal with difficult situations.

◘ Ask all the questions you want. Talk with your spouse about the infidelity. However, you may have to accept that your spouse may not know why the infidelity took place.

◘ Seek counseling (of knowledgeable people). Don't try to get through coping with unfaithfulness alone.

One of the most successful husbands

♥ He knows how to strike a balance between pleasing his wife and treating his mother with due kindness and respect.

The sincere Muslim husband draws upon his intelligence, compassion and strength of character in his dealings with both his wife and his mother, in such a way that he does not offend either of them. So he cannot be disobedient towards his mother or oppressive towards his wife. Rather, he recognizes his mother’s rights and treats her in the best possible way, while also recognizing his wife’s rights. He does not detract from his wife’s rights in the course of fulfilling his duty towards his mother and taking care of her. The truly sincere Muslim is able to do this, as long as he is truly conscious of Allah (S.W.T.) (i.e., has taqwA.) and follows the guidance and teachings of Islam, which treat both mother and wife with fairness and give each her due status.

♥ He understands his wife and respects her feelings. The true Muslim always understands his wife and respects her feelings.

♥ He does not criticize her family or any of her relations in front of her, out of respect for her feelings. In return, she respects his feelings and does not do or say anything that may adversely affect any member of his family.

♥ He does not disclose any secret that she has entrusted to him, or spread any story that she has told him in confidence, for carelessness in such matters all too often explodes into conflict between the spouses and extinguishes the love between them. The sincere Muslim husband is protected from all of that, so long as he continues to follow the guidance of Islam.

♥ He helps her to make up for her failings and weaknesses.

The sincere Muslim husband tries to make up for what his wife lacks, if he feels that she is lacking in knowledge or manners. He does this in the gentlest, kindest and most positive manner. If he encounters defiance or wilful deviance on her part, he brings her back to the straight and narrow in a gentle, humane and intelligent manner, avoiding harsh criticism or rebuking her in front of people, no matter what the reason. The most hurtful thing for a woman is that someone should hear her being reprimanded or witness her being scolded. The true Muslim is the most sensitive and respectful towards the feelings of others.

♥ He fully understands his role as a protector and maintainer (qawwam) of his wife.

With such good attitudes and gentle treatment, the Muslim husband wins the heart of his wife, so she does not disobey him in anything. Therefore the Muslim man has been given the position of qawwam over women, because of the characteristics which Islam instills in him, the qualifications it has given him and the conditions and limits it has imposed on him:

"Men are the protectors and maintainers [qawwamun] of women, because of Allah has given the one more [strength] than the other, and because they support them from their means...]"

(Qur’an 4:34)

introducing solids...

i want to share my experience on starting my baby with solids...

it all started when he was 4 months old..he started drinking milk more n more frequent...sometimes every hour he wants to drink milk ( my son is breastfed, alhamdulillah) so everyone said ohh maybe baby dah start lapar, so can introduce slowly makanan...but of course i was very scared to start so early, i just fed my baby with more milk...every hour pun every hour..sanggup...

and then he was 5 months...alhamdulillah my baby size is slightly big...his weight was about 7.5 kgs...but remember this post, where he fell sick...yes it all started from there...he started loosing weight....sbb tak minum byk...after that when he felt better, he started gaining back his weight...alhmdulillah...

but he i can see a change in him...he is very uneasy... moody...and malam, he wakes up sampai 10 times minum susu je...people told me many times, maybe he is hungry, u can start feeding him, coz he was showing all the signs...he was moody, suka tgk org makan....he is always moving his mouth everytime he sees food..everyone said maybe i should feed my baby early..

n then the next week, he was still uneasy...he shouts n cry n pretty much the whole night dia nak feed je...n to make things worst, he pee and his poo poo...makin kurang...after half day of weating diapers, sometimes still kering je diaper dia...but i told myself, takpa 1 more week je..coz takut my baby is not ready

so the next week alhamdulillah 1 started feeding him...i baught rice cereal, then put a bit of milk..n then i fed him...tapi very cair..and i did that for 2 weeks..coz many websites i read yang instruct how to start feeding ur baby solids.

finally 2 weeks ago, my baby was shouting n shouting when everyone was eating...n my mum said bagi jelah ur baby bubur..just masak for him bubur, blend n give him..stop giving him all this rice cereal yg instant..n that is what i did..i masak bubur nasi n rebus with carrot, n i fed him...n for the first time he makan, kenyang n he was quiet...my mum said, see ur baby is so happy alhamdulillah...

n for a few days, i fed my baby 3 times a day rice with veggies...n mashaAllah he has been such a pleasant baby since then..tak bising...he will play, n malam he will just drink sikit n sleep..around 3 kali je he will wake up for milk...

so yes... my mum was right..i should have just fed him earlier...even my sisters pun sedar, n said ur baby now dah more calm...

i know i should have started feeding him earlier..but i was stubborn, i thought what i read online is better than what my mum, mother inlaw, aunties experienced with anak2 diorg.....

now ive learnt sometimes, org org tua do know better..than me yg sibuk find information online je..hehehe...lesson learnt..maybe breastfed babies, can eat slightly earlier, coz our milk cepat process so they get hungry faster..but it all depends on each baby's individual development..remember every baby is different...ada babies yang tak ready to eat earlier then 6 months...

but it wasnt too late...alhamdulillah..its all a learning process for me...

Bertudung kerana terpaksa?

SOALAN

Untuk pengetahuan ustaz,ibu saya telah menyuruh saya memakai tudung ketika saya berumur 13 tahun lagi. Saya hanya menurut katanya kerana bimbang dimarahi. Walaupun begitu, sekarang saya tidak lekat memakai tudung. Ini diketahui oleh ibu saya, dia hanya mampu membebel dan berkata, adik nak buat dosa, adik tanggung la sendiri, ibu dah buat apa yang patut. Sekarang saya sudah bekerja dan hanya memakai tudung di tempat kerja sahaja kerana di tempat saya, tindakan undang-undang akan dikenakan sekiranya pekerja tidak memakai tudung. Saya tahu hukum tidak menutup aurat, tetapi buat waktu sekarang, hati saya tidak terbuka lagi untuk terus menutup aurat (rambut dan leher). Cara pemakaian saya tidak seperti rakan-rakan saya yang menutup aurat.

Mereka bertudung tetapi pemakaian mereka tidak melambangkan imej mereka. Baju, seluar ketat yang menampakkan susuk tubuh. Bagi yang memakai baju kurung, ada yang dari kain yang nipis dan jarang. Bagi yang berbaju kebaya, ianya terlalu ketat, berkain belah sehingga menampakkan betis dan jarang. Ada yang tidak memakai seluar tetapi memakai skirt panjang. Walaupun begitu, ianya ketat dan menampakkan garis pakaian dalam yang dipakainya. Tudung yang dipakai pula tidak menutupi dada. Lelaki-lelaki yang memandang tidak berkelip melihat mereka.

Ada juga rakan saya yang betul-betul menutup aurat tetapi perangai dan kelakuan mereka lebih teruk dari perempuan yang tidak memakai tudung. Tidak menunaikan solat, panjang tangan, mengumpat, melayan lelaki yang bukan muhrim, pengotor dan pelbagai karenah lagi. Walaupun saya tidak memakai tudung, saya menjaga solat, pemakaian dan tingkah laku saya. Kawan-kawan saya ini ada menyuruh saya supaya terus memakai tudung tetapi saya tidak mahu menjadi hipokrit. Saya mahu berubah kerana saya sendiri yang ingin berubah. Saya mahu melakukannya dengan ikhlas, bukan kerana disuruh. Saya tahu hari itu akan tiba tetapi bukan sekarang. Semoga ALLAH membuka hati saya untuk terus memakai tudung. Amiin... - Diera –

JAWAPAN

Ada beberapa perkara yang saudari utarakan dalam soalan dan ingin saya berikan respon ringkas. Iaitu :-

1) Isu tidak mahu bertudung ( menutup aurat) tanpa ikhlas kerana tidak mahu hipokrit serta tidak mahu berubah kerana disuruh.

Sebenarnya isu ini telah agak banyak saya sentuh di dalam artikel-artikel yang lalu seperti berikut :- • Aurat wanita apa sudah jadi? • Wanita, aurat dan Kerjaya Namun demikian, disebabkan soalan ini ada menyentuh beberapa isu yang agak semasa dan kerap, saya berasa perlu untuk memberikan ulasan tambahan.

Begini ulasannya, Allah swt dan RasulNya telah mengarahkan seluruh wanita muslimah untuk menutup aurat dan bukan hanya bertudung. Justeru, sama ada seseorang itu ikhlas atau tidak, suka atau tidak, disuruh oleh orang lain atau terbit dari hatinya sendiri, dia tetap WAJIB di sisi Allah untuk melaksanakan kewajiban itu. Sebagaimana seorang pemandu tidak berhemah warganegara Malaysia yang menetap di United Kingdom ( UK ), dia akan terpaksa mengubah cara pemanduannya kerana hemah pemandu di UK amat tinggi, sesiapa sahaja yang kurang berhemah akan segera mendapat teguran pemandu lain, malah adakalanya pemandu lain akan segera menelefon polis atau mencatat nombor plat kereta untuk diadukan kepada polis. Atas sebab itu, pemandu yang asalnya ‘brutal' di Malaysia, TERPAKSA berubah di UK .

Tidak kiralah sama ada dia berubah kerana hipokrit, terpaksa, tidak ikhlas atau apa jua sebab lauaran. Hakikatnya, dia MESTI berubah, kerana itu adalah system dan regulasinya. Mengabaikannya akan membawa mudarat kepada diri sendiri dan pemandu orang lain. Sama seperti menutup aurat dan bertudung, itu adalah regulasi oleh agama Islam, mengabaikannya akan membawa mudarat spiritual kepada diri sendiri dan juga orang lain (kerana setiap lelaki yang melihat aurat wanita bukan mahram, akan berdosa dan dosanya dikongsi bersama oleh wanita tersebut).! Justeru itu, hipokrit tidak boleh sama sekali menjadi PENGHALANG untuk mengerjakan semua KEWAJIBAN agama, termasuk menutup aurat. Ia adalah arahan Allah dan hak Allah untuk menguji hambaNya. Sama seperti mendirikan solat, membayar zakat, puasa Ramadhan dan semua arahan serta larangan Islam yang lain, sama ada seseorang itu ikhlas atau tidak, terpaksa atau tidak. Kewajiban untuk melakukan semua arahan wajib dan menjauhi larangan yang diharam tetap tertanggung di atas bahunya, walaupun dia tidak ikhlas atau masih gagal mencapai tahap Ikhlas.

Apa yang perlu diusahakan adalah terus menerus berusaha memperoleh ikhlas semasa melaksanakan perintah dan menjauhi larangan itu. Itu boleh dianggap sebagai adalah level kedua kesempurnaan ibadah. Level pertama adalah mesti melaksanakan tuntutan Islam. Perlu diingat, jika seseorang menutup aurat dan menunaikan solat secara ikhlas atau separa ikhlas, maka dia akan beroleh ganjaran sekadar keikhlasannya. Namun tanggungjawab fizikal yang diwajibkan oleh agama dikira sudah terlaksana secara zahirnya. ATAU kata lainnya, tatkala itu dia hanya BERDOSA SEKALI iaitu kerana tidakmelaksanakannya secara ikhlas, tetapi dia terhindar dari dosa tidak mengerjakan yang wajib ke atasnya secara zahir. Namun jika dia degil dan tidak menutup aurat, tidak juga solat atas alasan TIDAK IKHLAS, TIDAK MAHU HIPOKRIT dan sebagainya. Tindakannya itu menjadikannya BERDOSA di sisi Allah secara fizikal dan juga spiritual, atau dalam kata lainnya, dia berdosa DUA KALI.

Dosa di level pertama dan kedua sekaligus, malah lebih musnah apabila dosa level pertama itu sangat mudah bercambah apabila ia berjangkit kepada orang lain, seperti apabila sahaja ada mata lelaki bukan mahram yang melihat, ketika itu dosa bukan hanya dua kali tetapi sebanyak mata lelaki yang melihat. Adapun bagi mereka yang tidak ikhlas tadi, at least dia sudah terselamat dari cambahan dosa dari mata lelaki. Kesimpulannya, ‘ingin berubah hasil hati sendiri', ‘tidak ikhlas' dan ‘tidak mahu hipokrit' itu semuanya hanya bisikan syaitan yang ingin menyesatkan hamba Allah agar terus menerus menjauhi kewajibannya. Sedarlah agar jangan lagi terpedaya, ingatlah berterusan dalam dosa sedang mengetahui hukumnya akan terus menerus menambah besar kemurkaan Allah swt dan akan menjadikan diri sama sekali TIDAK MAMPU berubah di satu hari nanti yang diharapkan.

2) MEREKA YANG BERTUDUNG TAPI TIDAK SEMPURNA DAN BERAKHLAK BURUK.

Kembali kepada persoalan saudari, dari bait-bait ayat saudari, kelihatan saudari begitu benci dan terganggu serta terkesan dengan keburukan akhlak dan cara tutupan aurat rakan sekerja yang lain yang dikatakan memakai tudung tetapi ketat dan sebagainya. Sehingga saudari merasa mereka semua hipokrit, buruk perangai, pengotor dan sebagainya, walau bertudung. Sebelum itu, saya perlu ingatkan saudari dikira bertuah kerana mendapat kerja di sebuah syarikat yang begitu perihatin dalam masalah agama sehingga mewajibkan kakitangan mereka untuk menutup aurat. Satu perkara mesti jelas juga, semua wanita yang bertudung tetapi berbaju ketat, skirt panjang terbelah, berbaju kebaya sempit dan sebagainya, semua mereka berada di satu level pada pandangan Islam. Iaitu SEMUA SEDANG MELAKUKAN DOSA DAN SEMUA TIDAK MENUTUP AURAT.

Justeru, adalah SALAH bagi saudari menganggap ‘rakan sekerja itu' SEBAGAI MENUTUP AURAT TETAPI BURUK AKHLAK DAN BERDOSA. Sebabnya, mereka juga TIDAK MENUTUP AURAT. Malah jika mereka benar-benar menutup aurat sekalipun, adalah SALAH untuk merujuk kepada mereka dalam menetap pendirian sama ada saudari perlu sudah sampai masa untuk menutup aurat atau tidak. Ingatlah bahawa yang diwajibkan oleh Allah bukanlah hanya bertudung kepala dan menutup leher, tetapi menutup seluruh bahagian aurat tubuh.

Selain itu, adalah salah sama sekali dalam hal ehwal agama, untuk kita membandingkan diri kita dengan mereka yang lebih buruk agama dan akhlak. Ia adalah teknik Syaitan uuntuk menghentikan seseorang dari melakukan usaha pemulihan diri kepada yang lebih baik. Jelas dari hadis Nabi s.a.w, dalam hal agama dan kepatuhannya, kita mesti sentiasa melihat mereka yang lebih dari kita, agar kita terus berusaha. Manakala dalam hal keduniaan, barulah kita disuruh oleh Islam untuk melihat mereka yang kurang berbanding kita, agar kita lebih tahu untuk bersyukur dan tidak dijangkiti penyakit tamak.

Sabda Nabi :- خَصْلَتَانِ من كَانَتَا فيه كَتَبَهُ الله شَاكِرًا صَابِرًا وَمَنْ لم تَكُونَا فيه لم يَكْتُبْهُ الله شَاكِرًا ولا صَابِرًا من نَظَرَ في دِينِهِ إلى من هو فَوْقَهُ فَاقْتَدَى بِهِ ونظر في دُنْيَاهُ إلى من هو دُونَهُ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ على ما فَضَّلَهُ بِهِ عليه .. Ertinya : Dua perkara yang sesiapa dapat perolehinya akan ditulis dirinya sebagai hamba yang bersyukur dan sabar, sesiapa yang gagal dalamnya, tidak akan ditulis sebagai orang bersyukur dan sabar. Iaitu sesiapa yang melihat tentang agamanya kepada mereka yang jauh lebih baik darinya, lalu ia berusaha mengikutinya, dan dalam hal keduniaan mereka melihat kepada orang-orang yang kurang darinya sehingga ia memuji Allah atas nikmat yang diperolehinya .. ( Riwayat At-Tirmidzi, 4/665 ; Hadis Sohih menurut Tirmidzi dan Albani)

3) WALAUPUN TIDAK MEMAKAI TUDUNG (MENUTUP AURAT) TETAPI MASIH JAGA SOLAT DAN MAMPU MENJAGA TINGKAH LAKU.

Tahniah atas kemampuan saudari untuk terus menjaga solat dan menjaga tingkah laku, namun solat yang hakiki dan ikhlas akan menghasilkan seorang yang gerun melakukan dosa, serta akan mendorong seseorang untuk tanpa lengah menunaikan tanggungjawab yang diarahkan Allah. Namun apabila saudari terus redha dalam pembukaan aurat sedangkan saudari menunaikan solat, ia bermakna solat saudari juga bermasalah. Tapi jangan pula mengatakan, "kalau begitu saya tak mahu solat kerana tak mahu hipokrit", ia telah kita bincang di atas tadi. Juga, buktikan kepada diri bahawa jagaan solat saudari adalah benar-benar sebuah ketaatan dan bukan hanya kosong tanpa isi. Tanda awal ia adalah benar-benar sebuah solat adalah saudari akan terbuka hati dengan cepat untuk menutup aurat tanpa terkesan dek buruk perangai orang sekitar yang kononnya menutup aurat.

Justeru, saya menasihatkan saudari agar segera keluar dari jenis individu yang saudari sendiri benci (bertudung atau tutup aurat tapi tak solat, mengumpat dsbgnya). Saudari membenci perangai mereka tetapi dari sudut pandangan agama, saudari sebenarnya adalah sebahagian dari mereka kerana : Mereka yang menutup aurat dan buruk perangai adalah sama darjatnya dengan mereka yang solat tapi tidak menutup aurat. Kedua-duanya tidak bertanggungjawab terhadap Allah dan sedang melakukan dosa.

Malah saudari juga patut bersyukur mendapat ibu yang prihatin soal kewajiban agama, terlalu ramai ibu di zaman ini yang hanyut dan lebih suka anak perempuan mereka mengikuti gaya yang disukai syaitan iaitu seksi. Lalu apabila ibu menyuruh, Allah juga mengarahkan, maka saudari bukan sahaja berdosa kerana aurat saudari yang terbuka, malah juga berdosa kerana tidak mematuhi suruhan dan harapan ibu, selain berdosa melanggar arahan Allah. Bukankah mentaati ibu dalam hal yang tidak membawa dosa adalah WAJIB?. Dan jatuh derhaka bagi seorang anak yang mengguris perasaan ibu, khususnya dalam hal nasihat ibu untuk kita mentaati arahan Allah swt.

4) BUKAN SEKARANG MASA UNTUK BERUBAH.?

Jika bukan sekarang, maka adakah apabila sudah terlantar di rumah mayat baru ingin berubah? Sedarilah wahai diri, bahawa kematian akan datang secara tiba-tiba dan tiada sebarang jaminan umur masih panjang beberapa minggu lagi. Kebaikan dan pelaksanaan tanggungjawab jangan sesekali ditangguhkan, kelak tidak kempunan di hadapan Allah. Moga Allah membantu saudari untuk segera berubah dan terbuka untuk menerima jawapan ini. Saya juga doakan saudari untuk segera berHIJRAH KE ARAH kebaikan, dan teruslah kita semua berusaha untuk ikhlas dalam semua amalan kita.

baby update

alhamdulillah baby boy now is 6 months old...

i have to say, i love being a mummy...i love playing wth my baby...he is so responsive...mashaAllah...

so far alhamdulillah he can sit and play...and he loves the playpan...seriously i dont think i can survive without the playpan...n the latest thing he can do this week, is berdiri inside the playpan while holding the sides.....hehehe...i think soon playpan pun dia dah taknak...but cousins dia kadang2 semua duduk dalam playpan, n he pun will happily sit with them..hehe...i dont knw why diorg suka main sempit2 dalam tu...

now he dah start makan.i waited sampai 6 months baru start, even though he is an above everage size baby..mmg towards the end tu, susah nak tido malam, i think because he was lapar...

..now dah pandai sit on highchair and bumbo kalau nak makan...food dia slowly makin pekat..hopefully in 2 weeks i will slowly start introducing food like carrots and stuff...

Alhamdulillah last month he went for his first overseas trip..but dekat je, to singapore...masa pergi, because we naik firefly, n kan nak jalan to the plane, u can actually hear the loud engine sound...baby boy was a bit scared, n he cried.n it was a bit susah for me to calm him down during the take off..but alhamdulillah after 15 mins, he slept...but i had to apologise coz baby boy cried quite loud awal2 tu...

masa balik, we took MAS, and alhamdulillah they upgraded me...so comfortable..no loud engine sound, so baby boy just minum susu, n terus tido...n seat besar, it was much easier to feed him, n pegang him...

baby boy loves playing with his feet...

Jazzakallah Khair(thank you very much) for your time. Its been a long time, so i've decided to share something i've learnt in my aqidah class. Amazing MasyaAllah, free classes in english so please if anybody is interested kindly join.

Before class i didnt even know the difference between akidah and tauhid, and now i know....

->which is for the first 13 years of Islam, Rasulullah SAW only concentrated his da'wah on tauhid alone before teaching them to do Ibadah, which shows how important it is for us to understand the whole concept of Aqidah. May Allah SWT open our hearts to gaining all knowledge...Ameen....

,before i share i need to clarify that i have a lot more to learn on this topic, so should you find any error in my writings/find a stronger dalil do correct me, i would really appreciate that.

Since small we have learnt that one of the things Allah SWT dont forgive us in the act of shirk (THE biggest sin), indeed it is not just a big sin, Allah SWT will not count ANY good deeds that is done in their lifetime and they shall remain in Hell forver even if he is someone "yg beramal soleh".

Allah SWT mention in Surah al-nisa 4:48 --> Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.

Surah al-An'am 6:88 --> This is the Guidance of Allah with which He guides whomsoever He wills of His slaves. But if they had joined in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.

Big Shirk is devided to 8 parts and And the no 4 is shirk taat/patuh. In this topic, i've learnt that whoever that obeys the scholars, the rulers, parents, friends or just anybody, BUT forbiding what Allah SWT has made halal and permitting what Allah SWT has made haram has certainly taken them as Lords (commit shirk). We will be no different from the yahudis and nasranis.

Why Allah SWT punish us so harshly is this issue? its because Islam is not just a religion, Islam is a way of life...Its the perfect way of life and ALL example ware shown by Rasullulah SAW and his sahabah during their lifetime, and us changing it and making it our own meaning we are saying that we are greater than Islam and we are greater that Allah SWT and our version of Islam is better. in this world, Allah SAW left one thing that is perfect for us which is the Quran, so there should be nothing in there that we should add and nothing in there that we should subtract.

Please tell this to the everyone we love,so we make them amongst those with Iman, and May we be away from practising any shirk that we know, or we don't know....

baby boy had very bad demam hari tu, i saw a few doctors, because time raya mmg susah nak cari pead...finally after 4 days demam, we decided to bring him to the hospital, n he got admitted due to dehydration...he tak nak minum at all....

on the 2nd day at the hospital, finally doctor diagnose him with roseola virus...hmmm i wonder who jangkitkan to him...personal advice: please try not to kiss kiss any babies kalau tak sihat..kesian baby jangkit nanti...

alhamdulillah 3 days later he got aloooot better...he started bfeeding again..alhamdulillah...

because dia tak breastfeed for 3 days, my susu production terus drop, like by the 3rd day, mmg i sedar i disnt have any milk, pump pun 1oz je keluar.....ya Allah , i panic for a while...coz everytime my baby boy minum, he will cry n marah coz tak cukup susu....so to tambakhan susu i did the one thing i knew would help me....drink alot and eat alot more...now 3 days later, alhamdulillah my milk production is back to normal..so mothers out there..dont give up breastfeeding...even when tak cukup, just eat more, n drink more, inshaAllah susu akan cukup...and make sure baby latch on...

1- In one minute, you can recite chapter Al-Faatihah (the opening chapter of the Quran) silently. Some scholars, may Allaah have mercy upon them, stated that a person gets more than 1400 good deeds for reciting it once. If one recites it 7 times, one gets 9800 good deeds in one minute.

2- In one minute, you can say ''Astaghfiru Allaah'' (I seek forgiveness of Allaah) more than 100 times. The virtue of seeking forgiveness is well-known, it is a reason of obtaining forgiveness, entering Paradise, having good provisions, increasing one's strength, repelling harm, having affairs facilitated, the descent of rain, and increasing in wealth and children.

3- In one minute, you can read a part of the Quran.

4- In one minute, you can memorize a small verse of the Quran.

5- In one minute, you can say ''Laa ilaaha illa Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli chay'in qadeer'' (None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah Alone, He has neither partners nor associates, to Him belongs sovereignty and praise and He is over all things wholly capable) 20 times; its reward is setting 8 slaves free for the sake of Allaah from the children of Ismaa'eel (Ishmael), may Allaah exalt his mention.

6- In one minute, you can say ''Subhaana Allaah wa bihamdihi'' (How perfect Allaah is and all praise be to Him) 100 times, and whoever says this, his sins will be forgiven even if they were like the foams of the sea.

7- In one minute, you can say ''Subhaana Allaah wa bihamdihi, Subhaana Allaah Al-Adheem'' (How perfect Allaah is and all praise be to Him, how perfect Allaah is, The Supreme) 50 times, and these are two expressions which are easy to say, but they are very heavy on the scale of good deeds, and they are beloved to Allaah. [ [Bukhari: Hadith No:673, V:8] and [Bukhari, B:9, V:93, Hadith 652]].

Prophet Muhammad (sallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said, "There are) two words which are dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very light (easy) for the tongue (to say), but very heavy in weight in the balance. They are: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)'.

8- The Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, said: ''If I were to say: ''Subhaana Allaah, wal hamdu lillaah, wa laa ilaaha illa Allaah, wallaahu Akbar'' (How perfect Allaah is, all praise be to Allaah, None has the right to be worshipped except Allaah, and Allaah is the greatest.) it is better for me than the whole world.'' [Muslim]. In one minute, you can say all the above words 18 times, and these words are the most beloved words to Allaah, and the best of all speeches, and their weight on the scale of good deeds is very heavy, as reported in authentic narrations.

9- In one minute, you can say ''la hawla wa laa quwwata illa billaah'' (there is neither might nor power except by Allaah) more than 40 times. This is a treasure among the treasures of Paradise, as reported by Al-Bukhaari and Muslim, may Allaah have mercy upon them. It is also one of the major reasons of bearing difficulties and hardship.

10- In one minute, you can say ''Laa ilaaha illa Allaah'' (None has the right to be worshipped but Allaah) approximately 50 times, and it is the greatest word, as it is the word of Tawheed (Oneness of Allaah), a good word, and a firm statement, and whoever says this expression as his last words before breathing his last, he will enter Paradise; the above expression also has other virtues.

11- In one minute, you can say: ''Subhaanah Allaah wa bihamdihi, 'adada khalqihi, wa ridha nafsihi, wa zinata 'arshihi, wa midaada kalimaatihi'' (How perfect Allaah is and all praise be to Allaah, by the number of His Creation and His Pleasure, and by the weight of His Throne, and the ink of His Words) more than 15 times. This statement equals multiplied rewards of ordinary legislated mention of Allaah, as confirmed by the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam.

13- In one minute, you can give a short summarized speech which could be very beneficial for the listeners.

14- In one minute, you can exalt the mention of the Prophet, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, by saying ''Sala Allaahu 'Alayhi wa sallam'' (may Allaah exalt his mention) 50 times, for which Allaah will exalt your mention 500 times, because one exaltation is multiplied tenfold.

15- In one minute, you can think about the creation of the heavens and the earth, as a result you will be considered among the people of understanding whom Allaah mentioned in the Quran.

16- In one minute, you can think about being grateful to Allaah, loving Him, fearing Him, hoping for Him (His Mercy) and longing to meet Him; by doing so, you would have achieved great acts of worship while you may be lying down on your bed or walking in the street.

17- In one minute, you can read more than two pages from a beneficial book which is easy to understand.

18- In one minute, you can keep ties with your kinship by phoning them.

19- In one minute, you can supplicate with general supplications.

20- In one minute, you can greet (by saying Salaam to) a number of people and shake hands with them.

21- In one minute, you can forbid evil.

22- In one minute, you can enjoin good.

23- In one minute, you can advise a brother.

24- In one minute, you can intercede in doing good for a person.

25- In one minute, you can comfort a distressed person.

26- In one minute, you can take off an obstacle from the road.

27- By benefiting from one minute, you will preserve and benefit from other times.

today im going to do a review on bouncers..

alhamdulillah rezeki my baby, cousins dia semua bagi pinjam berjenis-jenis bouncer...hehehe..so he alhamdulillah dapat merasa segala jenis bouncer...

1) Inglesina bouncer

ok this bouncer is very cantik kan..i pinjam from my friend..bouncer ni, is good when your baby is newborn esp..sebab it can go flat, but the babies head lifted sikit, u put baby on top... baby will be comfortable...n dia ada tali at both sides to carry the bouncer around..but of course i tak larat to carry, but habib can.. hehee...the con of this bouncer is, it doesn't bounce much...esp my house yg takda carpet or tikar, its a bit licin, if bounce dia ada bunyi sikit because the bouncer langgar with the lantai...but kalau tak bounce then no problem.. u can adjust that thing naik turun, follow the mood of the baby...if baby sleepy, can baring flat, if baby nak see around, can naikkan like the picture above...

2) mothercare bouncer

this bouncer price is very reasonable..hundred plus...basic bouncer, but reliable...dia ada getah at the bottom so tak licin...but the problem with this bouncer is, tak boleh adjust...settings macam tu je, kalau nak baby lie flat, kena naikkan the bawah part, n selalunya either i put pillows or naikkan to our coffee table..n then it will be flat..then baru baby will be comfortable...but bila baby dah besar sikit, then ok.

2) fisher price rocker

this baouncer, is more a rocker actually...dia boleh guna sampai baby besar...the kepala part can adjust. and ada that hanging thing yang can hang toys, so yes baby senang distracted to play2...the good part about this bouncer is its tinggi, not flat on the floor like other bouncers...n his cousins yang 2-4 years old pun senang play with him...esp they like to rock him sekali...the problem with this bouncer is also like inglesina bouncer, dia licin sikit..so kalau bounce kuat sikit, the whole bouncer will move...i sometimes feel like its not safe. Bouncer ni more for bigger babies, like after 3 months sbb the head part tinggi sikit, but u can put it flat for newborn, but kalau flat, dia dah tak boleh bounce dah, so this bouncer bila my baby jr dah 3 bulan baru i started using it...itu pun still badan dia after a while akan senget sbb he still cannot support his body...
this bouncer also has vibrating option..tapi even if i on it, takda effect langsung on my baby, he will still complain nak keluar...

4) baby bjorn bouncer...

this bouncer is by faaaaaaarrrrrr my favorite..its just the best...the bouncer is so solid i dont feel like it can terbalik, or licin or anything...the seat is so comfy, my baby kalau duduk sini dia diam je..kalau bounce him mmg 90% of the time dia akan tido...omg masa i first time used it, i just cannot believe how much my baby loves it..cara dia bounce pun lain the feeling...my 4 year old nephew mmg suka bounce my baby in here...n yes, my baby will mashaAllah eventually fall asleep..imagine a 4 year old boy putting a baby to sleep...but this bouncer only has 1 biiiig flaw..its so mahal...Rm699...mmg if my sister in law tak bagi pinjam, i would never consider buying it..but after using it, mmg i think its worth every cent...belt dia pun, so lembut, tak kacau baby.
also this bouncer boleh flat terus, so its soo easy to bring to travel, senang to carry n tak berat..no other bouncer we can bring to travel sbb semua bulky. even masa he was admitted kat hospital, we bring this..senang nak put baby to sleep
.my baby will happily sit in here...this is my lifesaver..i jaga my baby alone most of the time when habib is at work, so this has helped me sooooo much...can visit mothercare at the curve to try it out. they hv a display model...

5) Graco swing

this graco swing..mmg my baby suka...it manual..u wind it, n then it will swing on its own..lepas about 20 mins u just wind it all over again...baby jr, bila duduk sini, mmg akan terlelap because dia swing best..baby mana tak suka kan??? the con is, sometimes bila he dah bangun, he will nak pusing to keluar, its a bit dangerous when he does that...so must monitor baby all the time bila atas ni...n bulky sikit this thing..u need a big place...

again alhamdulillah i would like to thank everyone that has been kind enough to borrow us all this bouncers/swing, sampai we didnt have to buy any of these..May Allah swt bless all your kindness...ameen..

alhamdulillah baby boy dah 6.5kgs..mashaAllah..baby weight is increasing well..but mama dia..hmmm berat tak turun2 pun...sedih nya..tsk tsk.i think kena start exercise..i need to loose at least 9kgs lagi utk balik to old weight.

today i would like to share about diapers....

awal2 lagi, anticipating my baby will have sensitive skin like me, i terus start guna mamy poko..because soooo many mums review cakap mamy poko is the best, esp for sensitive skin...

since day 1, baby Jr pun gunalah mamy poko...but my baby poo poo soooo much..astaghfirullah, kadang2 kena tukar diaper 20 times satu hari...tapi sadly my baby kena diaper rash sgt teruk..as i have mentioned before in this story...click here...

lepad tu i tried everything...besides mamy poko..i tried huggies, goon(beli from giant), pet pet..segalanya..all pun still diaper rash...

finally i gave up i went back old school..

the modern cloth diaper susah nak guna sebab baby sooo small masa tu...

but its senang, when he dah poo poo, i just rendam overnight, by morning rub rub sikit, the nappy dah bersih...

of course mmg leceh sikit, but pakai diapers pun kena tukar 10-20 kali sehari, so baik guna lampin je ..

now baby jr guna half half..mamy poko n huggies ultra...kadang2 still ada je rashes naik..but alhamdulillah still under control...

alhamdulillah baby Jr is almost 3 months now...

the journey all in all is mashaAllah still so beautiful..its amazing your life changes for this small tiny little baby...

today i want to share about my milk...

alhamdulillah i manage to breastfeed him to the last 3 months.

and also alhamdulillah i manage to find something yg trigger my milk so byk...here is the story..

during my pantang time, alhamdulillah susu semua just nice...my baby drinks alot, some people manage to pump n store milk, for myself..mmg susah..everytime i try pump, i get only like 1 or 2oz je..tu pun after that my baby akan bangun n get so angry coz milk macam dah habis...i pumped a few times je..after that i told myself, tak payalah.since milk not yet enough...

after pantang, of course the first place we visited was rumah my metua...n suddenlywhen i was there my milk jadi byk..finally i started pumping...n then balik my house..milk ok, balik just enough...not engorged anymore

n then the next week visited my metua again...n again my milk byk sampai engorged, even after baby dah minum..and again when i balik my house dia ok balik...back to supply n demand...

the 3rd time i pergi, again it happened, this time we stayed for almost a week, n my engorged was so bad, sampai tak tido malam, just sibuk pump n pump...i felt alhamdulilah rezeki, tapi susah jugak, coz i was engorged like crazy..and i heard scary stories kena operate due to mastitis, infection of the breast....takut sgt

n i told myself, sure ada something kat rumah my in laws was a trigger.. so i did a lot of trial n error, to find what is it that i didnt have at my house that i took at my inlaws...nasilah, airlah, roti, bawang ..segalanya i checked..

finally guess what, we alhamdulillah manage to find out what it was...

so now i know i dont drink that much sarsi...but when i want to stock up milk, i will drink sarsi, n store all my milk..alhamdulillah now i have supply at my house, n rumah inlaws as well just incase..

well to tell the truth, when i was pregnant my morning sickness was so bad that mmg air tak masuk langsung, if i drink plain water i will muntah...and for a few months i could only drink sarsi...

oh alhamdulillah i found the thing that triggers my milk..my mum says mmg lain org lain trigger dia..for my mum it was papaya..for my 1st sis it was garlic, for my 2nd sis it was ubat Habbatus Sauda...tapi mmg lain for all of us...

today i would like to share my phobia..hehehe...

do u guys experience the same thing where random people u tak kenal come up to you n nak pegang your baby??
i have discuss this with some of my friends, some like some dont..I dont like it at all...if its family or friends or people i know... no problem..but when its random people yg i tak kenal.my goodness it bothers me alot. u never know what they have that can jangkit to my baby, nauzubillah...

dah kena a few times, once masa kat hospital, this lady just came n nak angkat...ada once we all nak makan this nenek datang sempat cium2 lagi..arrrgh...n many more..my sister pernah kena kat wedding we all pergi, senang je aunty tu, yg we all tak pernah jumpa or kenal, ambil my nephew bawak jalan2..we all terus ambil balik the baby (dahlah kidnapping now dah byk)...baru 2 weeks ago i went to a wedding, ada this girl came to my friend, tanya can i angkat ur baby, geram nak gigit??dia tanya.. nak ckp no kesian..but terus dia bwk baby tu jln2..panic mak dia nak find her baby...

i know some tu niat baik, just nak tgk baby n geram..but cakap2 bolehlah, i pun geram when i see a baby mashaAllah....but dontlah take the baby away from the mother....n kalau deman jgnlah cium baby..kissing spreads so much germs, dahlah babies immune system is still very weak at newborn stage...kesian baby tu jangkit nanti.

a few weeks ago, baby boy was not well..at first his cousins batuk2, n then me and my sisters pulak jangkit from the kids, n that was when my baby boy also jangkit...its the first time he fell sick...it was a saturday... and most clinics tutup because it was birthday agung i think..a public holiday..so we went around everywhere to find a peadeatrition. finally i rememebered my friend told me at DEMC ada...even on public holidays...

finally, Doc said to admit him, because he got a lot of phlem, but too young to caugh it out...so we did..

and i have to say from the first moment I was very impressed with the service.

we couldn't get a room kat pead floor coz it was full, but they put us in a room different floor but sebelah the nicu. pead doc came after 2 hours, checked on baby boy..lama jugak..he played with my son all, i was so lega, dapat a doctor like that..

after that i was engorged, asked the nurse for help, because i didn't bring anything to pump..i dah force baby boy to drink but he didn't want to, he just kept on sleeping..n then nurse came with electric ameada pump, and glass bottles to pump..they gave me 10 bottles..1 bottle 2 oz...and said after pump, can call the nurse, she will keep it in the nicu fridge. sempat bagi the sticker n pen to label lagi. (which btw masa discharged, they said just bring the bottles home)

besides that, they have this thing called hahaTV, where u can purchase for RM10, and ada like 50 movies u can choose from..sadly 25 of those movies is chinese movies..but ada about 25 lagi malay and english movies..so the whole day me n hubby tak habis2 tgk movies..but rm 10 boleh tahan 24 hours sahaja..after that u have to pay another rm 10 to get another 24 hours.

food not bad the menu...very specific..senang to understand..n then on top of that, they have room service..so since we all stilll lapar, apa lagi room service jela..price room service also tak mahal. all below RM 30.

doc came they next day..again he check and played with baby boy lama...n then i asked the nurse how to mandi him?? coz i didn't bring bath tab or anything..baju je hubby sempat ambil..n then nurse cakap..its ok, we will mandikan him..so they bathed him...all the nurses asyik main2 n check on him...

nurses service was good, but kalau nak compare to kpj, they are a bit young, so experience kurang sikit...but because the place is new, still quite empty, baby boy got alot of extra attention...in kpj hospitals, they are so full n busy..i terkejut demc all of them were so generous

i had a good experience..in terms of service, i was very pleased and happy..

but bilik dia abit small, i wasnt too happy about the size, sbb in the room ada stroller, ada my breastpump(yes the hospital pump sgt besa, ada dia punya own tray tolak2), ada the table makan..dah penuh dah...toilet is very very clean though...price RM 180 for single bedded room.

overall i have to say if i were to be admitted for something not complicated or common sickness i really would recommend DEMC...

well hari tu baby jr went for his 2 months check up..and mashaAllah he is now 5.5kg..alhamdulillah..he is growing mashaAllah so well...we all pun terkejut...but alhamdulillah...

now he is just like any other boy..hehehe...look at his sleeping style...

well different people has different pantang k..ehehe...kena buat disclaimer awal2...

for myself, because lahir cser, so many things i didnt do..but what i did was pantang food...

everyday makan soup ikan kurau..everyday k..tapi tak teruk sgt, sbb my mum masak ikan very nice..hehehe...besides that, i drink byk air, so i dont get dehydrated, and to make sure supply susu enough for my Jr. selain soup ikan kurau, I also makan cream crackers with apple jam and fruits makan jambu and apples..

urut, dan segalanya semua tak buat, until habis 40 days...tapi i cheated tak buat 40days pun, sampai 39 days je...sbb tak larat already makan ikan..rindu makan ayam...hehehe....but now i still pantang alot of food...like lactose and seafood semua still pantang for myself n baby..baby because i takut he gets wind(perut kembung) or gatal...but so far if baby perut kembung, kalau massage minyak telon at his stomach, tapak kaki, belakang..nanti his perut ok, alhamdulillah...

now after pantang pun, just did my 1st urut tadi...yay, this whole week got berurut...

about socks, the first week pakai ok..after that, peluh sgt sgt until dapat heat rash, and after that i realise if pakai socks, my kaki edema, so after about 10 days dh stop dah pakai socks...(maybe because i gave birth tak natural(cser) so tak rasa sejuk kot..n my house pun panas, n i sleep without aircond..

ala boringnya my pantang story..hehehe..takpelah i end my story here..hehehe....till my next entry...

salam everyone..

I'm getting slower at updating..actually i go to my blog alot, to read everybodies update, tapi with my hp, so i cannot update/cannot comment sbb my simple nokia phone cannot suport kot, well whatever it is, everytime i nak log in blog, tak dpt, terus dia off the app...lap top takda, so everytime i update i have to borrow someones pc...

ok on weight management...guess what, total weight i put on during my pregnancy was 19kgs...so byk...alhamdulillah the first 12 kgs hilang the first 2 weeks after lahir baby..but since then it has been hard to loose weight....

total now alhamdulillah i've lost 14kgs..another 5kgs to go...macam mana nak loose the weight?? i eat sooo byk nowadays..seriously since i started breastfeeding alhamdulillah, ive been eating like crazy byk non stop, so my weight pun not going down..i'm really worried.. i cant fit my clothes...

any tips from mum?? how to not feel so hungry all the time...i feel hungry all the time...

as for my little Jr..alhamdulillah he is 4.5kgs at his 1 month check up...nowdays he doesnt yak so much...kalau dulu sampai 20 times a day pun ada, now he yak less than 10 times a day...diapers we use a lot less, nasib baik because i was feeling guilty buang so byk non biodegradable rubish (diapers, breastpads)....

Jr also now can smile at us finally, he was smiling alot, tapi only during his sleep...now he can smile when we talk to him... his face is changing so much....he looks soo different now, also bulat sikit...diapers pun dah guna size S, i'm sure he is going to ugrade to size M soon, sbb i feel slowly S dah start ketat..

soon i think i have to stop mittens and booties, and just pakai socks for him, because semua dah ketat..and mittens n booties only comes in 1 size right??

Diaper rash

Yay alhamdulillah my junior aka Jr dah 1 month old...

this is my baby wih his cousin..beza dia 1+ months (hana look they are using ur muslin gift, i love the lembutness of the kain)

alright today i want to discuss about diaper rash...My jr, he yak like between 10-20 times a day..mmg byk. He yak soo much sampai he had quite bad diaper rash. at first i was putting extra virgin coconut oil, but it didnt work, n then put honey, well it didnt get worst but it didnt get better as well...finally i used seba med diaper rash cream, and alhamdulillah the rash was getting better and better...

but me being me, i love to put natural things on my baby..not that i dont believe in modern medicine, i just use modern medicine as my last option..hehehe...and mashaAllah i was soo happy the seba med cream worked.

last entry i asked about natural things to put on the butt for diaper rash right?? and many of u all suggested corn flour and tepung ubi....first i tried tepung ubi, since more people suggested that, and guess what??? after 2-3 days, mashaAllah it worked soooo welll...(i put the tepung everytime after my baby yak) n now he is diaper rash free...alhamdulillah...

tepung ubi really works..!!!

as for corn flour, i put at his bodyparts yg ada folds like his armpit n his neck, to prevent him from getting heat rash..i'm so happy coz tepung ubi, and corn flour is very murah and so easy to get, and it has the least chemical item i can think off...thank you everyone that suggested both this flour...

being a breastfeeding mother

firstly alhamdulillah and thank you sooo much for all the doa and well wishes..

alhamdullilah..its been 3 weeks now...i've been wanting to update earlier, finally only today sempat...

well its been an amazing 3 weeks so far..now i understand how all mothers feel when they say, bila baby sleep u actually miss them..

when baby is asleep i open my phone and look at his pictures from day 1...so far we've taken his picture everyday, subhanallah, in 3 weeks he has changed so much..

breastfeeding, alhamdulillah its been going well...let me tell you to all mum-to-be's, breastfeeding awal-awal tu sakit, but after like a week, then everything dah numb, it gets much easier...nobody told me that it's sakit...and it requires alot of determination...the day baby was born, he was asking for milk every half hour..dahlah i just came out from the operation theater,n sooo tired...my baby didn't give me a chance and asked for milk so frequent. and when he suck it was soo sakit...

and when the nipples crack and your baby suck it, its also sakit

day 2 he did the same thing, asked for milk every half hour...and this time my drugs is a lot less, so when my uterus was contracting while he was breastfeeding, ohh it was sakit as well...giving up almost became an option because it was just so overwhelming, n some people kept on saying oh u tak cukup susu kot..

but my family, my hubby, and the nurses all supported and gave me motivations to keep on going...esp from my mum, who reminded me that breast milk is rezeki from Allah swt, i must YAKIN that its enough for my baby, the more the baby suckle the more milk will be produce...and true enough a few days later, all started to settle down..and now alhamdulillah i'm starting to pump the extra milk..stock up alhamdulillah, of course tak byk lagi..just slowly pumping...

so my advice to everyone, DONT give up..because MashaAllah when ur susu is banyk and ur baby is well fed, its just the best feeling..

Ramai say breastfeeding babies, no need to burp...but my baby if tak burb he will be so tak senang, he will cry n cry..n sometimes muntah...but when he is well fed, n then he burps, alhamdulillah he will sleep nicely..

u know the funny part, i think breastfeeding is more overwhelming that my c-section n healing the pain n my wound..but now i'm glad i didnt give up...alhamdulillah...

InshaAllah the next entry i will write about my labour...

p/s: does anybody has any natural remedy for diaper rash??..i have been putting cream, and now better alhamdulillah, tapi i want to put something natural pulak, because i dont want to put so much chemical on my baby's skin.

Subhanallah syukur, our lil baby boy is out...

Habib Jr at day 1

he was 3.14kgs..the biggest baby among the all the cucu my side and habibs side...he came out 2 days before due date...we tried and tried, but finally c-sect was the only way to get him out..but alhamdulillah i'm just glad that he is out safely...

will update more stories soon inshaAllah...tmrw is his 1 week old check up...inshaAllah...our first time bringing him out...i'm sooo scared.....

Salam everyone,

Well had my check up yesterday, 39th week check up...mashaAllah i never knew baby was going to stay this long in my tummy, because all of us siblings and all my anak sedara semua keluar by 35-38 weeks...hehehe..

Alhamdulillah baby has reached 3kgs...after the doctor scan everything, i had to do an internal check up..after that the doctor said, ok..i need to explain to you something...masa ni I was just looking at habib, i knew something was wrong...

we sat down, and then the doctor explain, I'm still not dilated and baby is still not engaged..at all...still floating in my tummy...doctor also mention, one of the biggest reason why, is because the opening of my pelvic bone is abit small for the baby to go through, hence he is stuck floating up there, baby tak muat to get engage yet alone to deliver...that is why, even with my rather frequent braxton hicks I'm not dilated at all...because by now kalau normal person dah at least dilate 1-2cm..

and then i ask what if we induce now before the baby gets bigger, and then doctor explain that because my baby tak engage, even if induce most prop i wont dilate till 10cm pun, and chances of emergency c-sect is very high...

Doctor says we wait, because the baby is still comfy inside, amniotic fluid, placenta, growth and heart rate all normal alhamdulillah. Let nature takes its course..but by next week, if still sama then most prob i have to go through a c-sect. Heish i never knew my big butt, actually has a small pelvic opening...

But I'm still hoping for the best...Me and habib is making loads of doa so that I can deliver naturally...but Allah SWT knows best, what ever happens within the next few days, its whats meant to happen...

next appointment is in 4 days, i guess by then if i still tak go in labour, me and habib must decide whether we nak opt for a planned c-section or not...InshaAllah, May Allah guide us to making the right decision..ameen....

Alhamdulillah I'm reaching 39 weeks in a few days...

to update about the breech situation...subhanallah, with berkat all the doa and effort, the baby actually turned at 37 weeks...masa we scan at the time, i could not believe the baby managed to turn without me feeling anything...amazing mashaAllah....and the doctor said, ohh your baby was being playful..

now alhamdulillah baby is in normal head down position, tgh menunggu masa for baby to come out..last we checked baby was about 2.7 kgs, alhamdulillah...tmrw is another check up, i cannot wait to find out baby updates...

I also want to share what happened last night...

i started having contractions, actually I've been having timed contractions aka braxton hicks since 37 weeks sometimes malam2 it will come about every 10 mins..but of course, masa first time tu i was like omg is it time??tapi it happened so many times, i can just sleep through it....

but yesterday, it was extra intense, started at 1am, every 5 mins...and then at 2am, it became every 3 mins..me and habib monitor till 3.30am, and it was constantly every 3 mins...so we straight away packed to go to the hospital...

sampai hospital they monitored me under ctg, and midwife pun cakap, wah ni dah macam dah nak labour dah ni...alhamdulillah excited dah we all, almost 39 weeks tunggu to see the baby...

terus they check my dilation...guess what..it was 0..nothing..no dilation..so midwife inform doctor, doctor said, its ok, send me home..

so dgn hampanya we balik..n then my contractions pun makin sikit..

sigh...FALSE ALARM....

Sorry for the long silence, it's been 3 weeks since my last update...because it's been 3 weeks since i found out that my baby yg at 32 weeks alhamdulillah dah kepala kat bawah (vertex) tiba2 at 34 weeks decided to pusing to a breech position...

Tmrw inshaAllah finally i'm going to find out the position he is in now...and whichever position he is in, i redha already, because inshaAllah i've prepared myself for it..of course kalau dapat all au-natural process would be best...also on friday we are going to see another Obgyn inshaAllah to get a 2nd opinion, just incase...

kalau breech baby ni usually ada 3 options...

1) try lahir jugak baby songsang..but most Obgyn dah tak practise this anymore because risk is too high for mummy and baby..I cannot deny from the statistics we have now, a lot more baby and mothers survive during the labour process due to modern medicine ie c-sect and epidural and etc.

2) ECV (external cephalic version)

this process is where your Obgyn tries to turn the baby, but u must be a suitable candidate to do it..sucess rate is about 60-70%...more info go here

3) or yang paling common is c-section. of course yang ni no need to go detail sebab everyone dah tahu..

last week i went to see the doctor, he did a CTG, alhamdulillah heart rate baby all mashaAllah normal... so far baby is happily kicking and playing inside my tummy..

below is some pictures i just wanted to share...actually dah a few weeks basuh all the baby bajus..heheh..everything dah ready on stand by.. most of our baby stuff we beli neutral colours, white n such because nanti senang if 2nd baby dapat girl/boy inshaAllah, senang can recycle...even big2 things like stroller, car seat, baby tub,baby bumbo semua pun we just took neutral colours...

bag pun finally at 36 weeks baru dah pack everything...i actually manage to pack all in one back( because usually I dont know how to pack light, suka bawak byk barang just incase but somebody tegur and said I'm not going holiday...hehehe...) tapi this time, muat all baju for me, habib and baby...

Alhamdulillah i'm in my 34th week...

just met with the doctor today, and alhamdulillah baby around 2.3kgs...+-300grams....

tapi baby belum pusing lagi, head still kat atas and kaki kat bawah...I'm hoping, inshaAllah baby will turn soon...must make loads of doa inshaAllah...

oh btw this is my baby bump at 33 weeks....it got smaller kan?? my water retention alhamdulillah dah a lot less now...everyone stomach membesar, mine mengecil..hehehe...my face also tak buulat as bad as when i was 6 months..alhamdulillah..i"m so happy mashaAllah....

another amazing news mashaAllah...my brother's wife, just gave birth to a baby girl...I'm soooo excited..hehee...another new addition to our family alhamdulillah....

Alhamdulillah i have reached 30 weeks...inshaAllah 10 more weeks to go....

Now besides sibuk kemas2 bilik, now me and habib are looking into islamic birth rights takut tertinggal anything.

ok the first thing we should do is

1) Azan (Adhan)

Reciting the Azan to our baby's right ear.The words of Azan can halau the syaitan as mentioned below

Narrated Abu Huraira: Rasulullah SAW said, "When the adhan is pronounced Satan takes to his heels and passes wind with noise during his flight in order not to hear the adhan... [hadith Bukhari book 11 hadith 582]

This amalan mmg we all buat dari dulu lagi kan, actually untuk give indication that inshaAllah all parents will bring up the anak mengikut the guidance of Islam, correct? but sadly ramai sangat yang buat amalan ni for the baby, but solat sendiri tak terjaga. solat anak bila baligh pun tak jaga. InshaAllah May all of us, strengthen our Tauhid to become parents yang beriman, and didik anak2 yang soleh. Ameen.

2) Tahnik

Tahnik is a process of chewing something sweet ( selalunya tamar/dates) and gently rubbing it agianst the baby's upper jaw or palate so that the baby can suck it. The baby's first taste should be something sweet, so parents may chew a piece of date and rub the juice along the baby's gums. It was a practice carried out by the Prophet Muhammad SAW and is believed to help tiny digestive systems to kick in.

Narrated Anas bin Malik took 'Abdullah bin Abu Talha to Rasulullah SAW to perform tahnik for him. (tahnik was a custom among the Muslims that whenever a child was born they used to take it to the Prophet who would chew a piece of date and put a part of its juice in the child's mouth). I saw the Prophet and he had an instrument for branding in his hands and was branding the camels of Zakat. [Hadith Bukhari Book 24, Hadith 578]

Narrated 'Aisha: A boy was brought to the Prophet to do tahnik for him, but the boy urinated on him, whereupon the Prophet had water poured on the place of urine. [Hadith Bukhari Book 66, Hadith 377]

3) Aqiqah

Our misconception is that the aqiqah is a party organise by family of the newborn after the meat is cook. but in actual fact Aqiqah is the sacrifice that is made when the child is born. Sacrifice yang dimaksudkan is sembelih of the animal (2 sheep for baby boy, 1 sheep for baby girl, but Rasulullah SAW sacrifice 1 sheep each during the aqiqah of Hassan and Hussien his grandsons) also shave the babies head and naming the child (please refer to hadith below) .

Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: Rasulullah SAW) said: A boy is in pledge for his aqiqah, Sacrifice is made for him on the seventh day, his head is shaved and he is given name. ( Sunan Abu dawud Book 15, Hadith 2832)

The Aqiqah is a right (upon you). Sacrifice two compatible sheep for a boy and one for a girl. [Hadith Ahmad]

The actual sacrifice should best be taken place on the baby 7th day. If the aqiqah does not take place on the 7th day, it may still be sacrificed on the 14th or 21st day. Often during Aqiqah, families have a get together when the meat is eaten. The meat should be contributed to friends, family and golongan miskin.

Buraydah RAA reported that Rasulullah SAW said: The aqiqah should be slaughtered on the 7th day. 14th day or 21st day [Hadith Tabarani]

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As: The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) was asked about the aqiqah. He replied: Allah does not like the breaking of ties (uquq), as though he disliked the name. And he said: If anyone has a child born to him and wishes to offer a sacrifice on its behalf, he may offer two resembling sheep for a boy and one for a girl. [Sunan Abu Dawud Book 15, Hadith 2836]

4) Naming the newborn

A few Hadith has indicate that naming the child should be done on the 7th day, but don't worry ada juga hadith indicated that Rasulullah SAW named some newborns before the 7th day (example hadith below).

Narrated Abu Musa: I got a son and I took him to the Prophet SAW who named him ibrahim, and put in his mouth the juice of a date fruit (which be himself had chewed?, and invoked for Allah's blessing upon him, and then gave him back to me. He was the eldest son of Abii Musa. (Hadith Bukhari Book 73, Hadith 218)

5) Shaving the head

After shaving the newborn's head clean on the 7th day as well, Sedeqah is to be given which is equal to the value to the weight of the hair in silver.

Rasulullah SAW commanded his daughter Fatimah RAA to do it for the children " O Fatimah, shave his head and give charity equal to his hairs weight is silver [ Hadith Ahmad]

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) saw a boy with part of his head shaved and part left unshaven. He forbade them to do that, saying: shave it all or leave it all. (Sunan Abu Dawud Book #33, Hadith#4183)

Ibn Umar reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) forbade Qaza. I said to Nafi: What is Qaza'? He said: This means having a part of a boy's head shaved and leaving a part unshaven. (Hadith Muslim Book 024, Hadith 5289)

6) Khitan - Circumcision

Removal of the foreskin (for boys before he reaches puberty and sunat for girls)

It is preferable to be done while the child is newborn as Rasulullah SAW performed circumcision for his grandsons Hasan and Hussien on the 7th day [Bayhaqi]. However it can be done anytime before the child reaches puberty

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic region, clipping the nails and cutting the moustaches short." [Hadith Bukhari Book 72, Hadith 777, Hadith Muslim]

Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. [Sunan Abu dawud Book 41, Hadith 5251]

salam all...

i just have to share my first experience demam while pregnant...

well it all started last week, my family was going to move out from our house.... I only had one job to do, help jaga my anak-anak sedara (yang all baru nak sihat alhamdulillah from a viral fever), so yg can pack pack rumah..of course i cannot tolong pack, takut if angkat2 berat, nanti lagi susah....

tapi Allah swt had other plans...i fell sick....first it started with runny nose, lepas tu sore throat..from sore throat of course it's an infection, so i started having fever....lepas tu, from sore throat it started my athma(lelah), dahlah first time demam masa pregnant, terus dapat fever and lelah the same time...(i berjangkit from my anak sedara, he got it masa he went to tadika, heish musim2 sekolah baru start, always byk demam-demam)..masa ni, nak jalan2 tak larat because fever, nak baring tak selesa becase lelah (susah nak nafas). and the worst part Habib was outstation for 5 days, ahad baru balik...

sedih sgt masa ni, because of that, i tak boleh tolong jaga my anak2 sedara, and it was so difficult for family..i feel sooooo bad....

but alhamdulillah now i"m feeling so much better now...alhamdulillah Habib balik safely, straight away took care of me..hehee...

on the other hand, i"m entering my 8th month alhamdulillah... look at the picture below..my tummy dah turun kan??...and i think it got smaller...maybe my body is retaining less water now...but my face stilll booolllat sgt...

Names- recommendations

Firstly I would like to share with my readers, my baby bump a few weeks ago..masa ni around 26 weeks..

Besar kan my baby bump mashaAllah...everyone that i see will mention the size...total weight gain almost 10kgs now...but all concentrated to my face, tummy and butt...so macam tak stable, and i look like a blob...esp because my face dah soooooo bulat...i can't even look at my pictures anymore...

anyway today i decided to share some Islamic recommendations on naming our new born child. Why is it so penting to bagi our babies names with good meaning??? because Rasulullah SAW mentioned "You will be called by your name on the day of judgment' .

Meaning during akhirat time, we only bring 2 things with us 1)our amalan and 2)our names. So i guess it is quite important to give goood meaning to our babies...fyi, good meaning not just in arabic, good meaning in any language is accepted in Islam, but of course Arabic would be the best...inshaAllah...

1) It is recommended to give the child a name indicating servitude to Allah SWT

"indeed the best and most beloved names to Allah swt are Abdullah (servant of Allah) and Abd ur-Rahman (servant of the Most Merciful)" [hadith Muslim]

2) It is recommended to name the child after one of the Prophets and Messengers- the most righteous of humanity

This also use to be practiced by the Bani Israel as the Prophet SAW informed us and approved of with the hadith:

"they use to name their children after the Prophets and the pious people that came before them" [Hadith Muslim]

3) It is recommended to name the child after pious people in Islam and to teach the children about them

Thereby the child will inshaAllah grow up to love and respect them and follow their way and adopt their manners in righteousness and knowledge.
Examples include our Khalifah, Sahabat of the Prophet Muhammad SAW and scholars male and female....Umar, Uthman, Hamza, Fatima, Mariam, Aisha, Khadijah, Asma.....

4)It is recommended to give a child a name which has good meaning.

Names which have meanings of chastity, piety, honesty, and truth and more. Indeed names that fulfill the criteria of being truthful but not boastful about the Human nature should be chosen.

"the Most truthful names are : Harith (cultivator) and Hammam (planner) [hadith Muslim]

"The Prophet Muhammad SAW said : Call yourselves by the names of the Prophets. The names dearest to Allah are Abdullah and AbdurRahman, the truest are Harith and Hammam, and the worst are Harb and Murrah."[hadith Abu Dawood]

welcome 3rd trimester....

Alhamdulillah, i'm reaching my 3rd trimester...had my check up today...alhamdulillah all is well....

Baby bump last month at 24 weeks....

ok so new baby updates, doc today did 3d scan..mashaAllah we saw the face..hehee..so exciting...doc printed a black and white picture, but save all the scan in CD from week 6 (my first check up) nanti bila dah deliver, he will give us the cd, nanti boleh print the pictures out and keep for memory sake inshaAllah...

my baby bump now is actually lagi besar dari the picture above..hehee...i will update soon, bagi surprise sikit...yes my stomach is besar sikit, and tadi when i saw the doctor, i had to ask why is my stomach so besar when i compare with my friends...hehee..and doc explained that its mainly because of my height. I am not so tall so there is not much space in my stomach, so the stomach has to stretch out, and on top of that my keturunan retain a lot of water in our body, hence why my baby bump is besar.

also even better news, mashaAllah now another one of my sis is pregnant...so alhamdulillah now 3 of us sisters are pregnant...heheoh alhamdulillah...best sgt, we all can share share stories. i told the doctor to give family discount...ehehee...doctor pun gelak je...

baby now is 1kg..hehehe..alhamdulillah..i'm so happy....kicking and kicking happily..u know something, no one else dapat merasa my baby kick,because every time someone else touches my stomach, the baby will stop kicking...except for the father...with habib, he has a special game, if habib puts his hand on the left side of my stomach, baby akan kick left side je. If tukar and puts his hand on the right side of my stomach, he will punch the right side pulak..I dont know how our baby knows, but mashaAllah its just amazing...when first time the baby buat we thought it was just rezeki..but the baby has done it a few times already this month(of course only with the father)...and when someone else tries touching my stomach again, he will just stop kicking terus...its so funny..

muntah update, sadly i still muntah sikit sikit..i was hoping by 3rd trimester it will stop, but since 2011, i have muntah 2 hari already...but then again, its under control..alhamdulillah i'm so glad its nothing serious like other 3rd trimester issues like diabetic, anemia, hign blood pressure, placenta not at the right place and many many more...I'm so bersyukur alhamdulillah...

as for baby things, well so far we have all the big things, alhamdulillah like baby cot, car seat, bath tub, most of it of course hand me downs from my sis and sis in law...the ones that we have bought is breast pump, baby bottles, stroller(a special present from the grandparents), baby bumbo (from warehouse clearence fabulous mum for only RM 125 wth tray)..and many baby bajus ( I just couldn't resist the year end sale)...

byk lagi small things tak settle yet but inshaAllah within the next 2 months we will buy them slowly, and start to set up the room.

6th month update...

since i'm in my 6th month alhamdulillah, I've decided to compile a hopefully complete list of things that is needed for the newborn baby base on a few list i went through online, and my sisters personal experience. Hopefully tak tinggal apa-apa...hehehe...hopefully i will update it in my next entry

Baby bump at 5 months, nanti hopefully i will update baby bump picture at 6 months pulak..hehe..inshaAllah....

Yes indeed, that is my bump at 5 months....ramai orang commented that is quite besar..but alhamdulillah baby is normal size, i guess it's my keturunan to have big tummmy, because my sister pun stomach big like me but baby keluar 2.8 kgs alhadmulillah.

weight pulak, i have gained so much...a few days ago i did my 6th month check up, i've gained about 11kgs total...but hari tu, masa 1st trimester i lost 5 kgs, so actually kalau ikut original weight i've only gained 6kgs. but still dalam 8 weeks to gain 6kgs is very fast..

ohh and guess what.....

The funny story is that, during my 4th month and 5th month check up, every time the doc check, the baby is in shy position, and somehow the Dr. could not see the "little birdie". so he would say, ok, maybe you are having a girl, we will confirm again next month...but me being me, of course i dah tell my family all excited we are having a girl..hehhee....

but finally at our 6th month check up, ohh he was is a beautiful position where we saw the "little birdie" very clearly..hehehe...so the doc said, this time if wrong, doc will give me free labor/delivery...hehhee...but it was pretty clear though...so inshaAllah i hope we have a nice healthy and pleasant baby boy...

as for my pregnancy update...now slowly i cannot sit or stand too long, then my kaki will start bengkak sikit...if jalan-jalan the its ok.... but kalau duduk je lama2 mmg sakit...the other thing is now, cepat sgt i feel panas...its so funny sebab dulu i dont like aircond and sejuk-sejuk

also because my stomach is a bit besar, sleeping pun is getting a bit uncomfortable. i need pillows everywhere...kalau tak my skin feels so stretched and sakit...

i still have my nausea, esp when i drink something wrong. hari tu i wanted to start drinking soya bean, but somehow everytime i minum, i muntah, even after drinking Non-GMO organic soy bean also muntah. plain water pun somehow i still cannot drink. so now i'm just drinking zam zam..alhamdulillah nasib baik musim haji, so very easy to get zam zam...its a bit mahal to buy, but for my baby boy, inshaAllah its all worth it....

so i guess, mmg i'm just one of those mum-to-me yang nausea sambung throughout my pregnancy...my first sister stop at 7 months, and my 2nd sis pulak the whole 9 months pun still have nausea...but i can tell you all one thing, after 4 months the muntah is really not that bad, you just muntah after that can preceed and makan all over again... appetite mmg ada...not like in first trimester, muntah is so teruk that you just cannot eat or drink anything after that...

but other than all the typical small dugaan of pregnancy...i love my baby bump so much...everytime i will ask hubby did my tummy get bigger, i'm just so excited mashaAllah...i know i always pegang-pegang my stomach...hehehe...and my fav part is of course the baby kicking..now the baby kick so much (boys will be boys), I always put the remote control on my tummy, so my anak sedara can see the remote moving when the baby kicks..hehehe...they get so excited mashaAllah...

One of the vendor that i belum mention regarding my wedding is Emma K.

we hired them to do our wedding favors for me and my sisters wedding reception..MashaAllah i can say i was very very happy with their service. Trust me girls, they were very professional. at first I went to their butique at Bangsar village 2 to inquire about the chocolates and quotation. and then they said come back 1 month before our wedding.

so 2 months(because i rasa 1 month last minute sgt) before the wedding, i went to bangsar village 2, tgk2 the kedai dah tutup...OMG we really panicked because i really didn't have plan B. we went home went straight to the website, and called them. and then the Kakak said, ohh we have moved to empire at subang jaya but their main office is still in damansara perdana. so we went to damansara perdana office, choose our design and within 10 mins they gave me a mock up design of the wrapper and the thank you tag that i wanted. yes, believe me when i say they are very professional mashaAllah. and balik showed my parents, they were happy, terus we paid booking fee.

and true enough as they promised, 1 week before the wedding day, the chocolates dah siap.

now most of you must be worried about price right?? trust me it's not as mahal as everyone think it is.... they charge me RM 3.xx for one chocolate bar. Chocolate is by cadbury, + custom made thank you tag and emma k elegant wrapper design.

sadly our photographer tak ambil the pictures of the wedding favors :( tsk tsk...and by 3pm all the chocolates dah habis, all the guests yang datang lambat semua tak dapat. we pun miscalculated, we expected 800 guests, but 1200 came (nasib baik the hotel had enough food), alhamdulillah.

The ones we ordered was something similar to this but it was in pink and pale gold ribbon

Alhamdulillah now dah 5 months already...

firstly i want to congratulate amy, hanie and nadiah...alhamdulillah semua dapat baby girl yang sihat and sgt comel....

ok pregnancy update....ramai orang advice for me to jot down somewhere, because after the baby is born, nanti lupa dah the preganancy experience...so hear goes...

muntah finally stop at 20 weeks...alhamdulillah so far since then tak muntah lagi..but last week i did muntah when i drank air kelapa...hmmm....so i've concluded that no matter what i still have to be carefull, because my body will reject certain things that i eat/drink....

well the best part of my pregnancy happened at week 17, alhamdulillah it was the first time i felt the baby kick...now dah macam everyday routine...when the baby kicks, i feel happy, then i know baby is ok...actually that is one part i miss about muntah2...because when i was nausea, i knew baby was ok..now doc says inshaAllah if the baby kicks then the baby is fine...when tak rasa fetal movement after a few days then i should be worried... InshaAllah i hope nothing will happen to the pregnancy, and May Allah swt gives all of us an easy and pleasant pregnancy.ameen...

also alhamdulillah because i'm feeling better, now can go holiday with hubby..in my first trimester hari tu we went holiday, i couldn't enjoy it because asyik muntah je...

The last 2 weeks, i went to penang 2 kali hehehe..the 2nd time, habibs aunty bawak us makan at teluk tempoyak...hmmm very very yummy...tapi because duduk dalam kereta lama sgt, i got my first edema attack...keluar kereta je, kaki terus bengkak..aiyohhh dah mula dah kaki bengkak2....inshaAllah if all goes well next week pergi langkawi pulak...

oh ya, today i went to fabulous mum, the clearence is ok, but the best part is they are selling BUMBO at a very cheap price RM 105, if with tray RM 125(original price around RM250) so girls anybody that is interested, please go tomorrow because that is the last day of the warehouse clearance.

also lastly now baby bump dah besar sikit dah...baju normal all dah tak boleh pakai, nasib baik i have very kind sisters alhamdulillah, yang gave me all their maternity clothes, so there is no need for me to buy alot...

p/s: after we all survey byk2 peg perego stroller, the cheapest is at "The first few years" at the curve...so surprising, its RM 200 lagi murah from all the online shop...bukan online shops should be cheaper because they don't have to pay rent ke???

hmmm it's time to survey baby stuff....

oh i realise it's been soooo long since my last entry.....hehehe....

well first of all, Alhamdulillah i'm in my 2nd trimester now...

first trimester...hmm was very challenging, somehow I was one of those unlucky ones...my morning sickness was rather bad...actually i was feeling sick, vomiting and nausea all day long...at one time it became so bad, i was sooo dehydrated sampai kena admitt to the hospital for drip....I started muntah from week 6, and sambung sampai week 16...only the last 3 weeks muntah dah reda...so far once a week je muntah...only if i betul2 eat something wrong....

but no surpirse actaully....my whole family from my grandmother to my sisters semua pun went through bad morning sickness, so Alhamdulillah i had a lot of support from my family....

Alhamdulillah now i'm feeling a lot better....so yes, now of course it's time to start surveying for baby things....

the other thing that i want to be thankful for is actually, on baby stuff...i have mashaAllah generous sisters that are willing to share with me so many things, that i can cancel half of the things that i need to prepare for the new born baby nanti ...inshaAllah.....

ok first survey that i would like to share on is baby stroller...for myself, because i have experience taking care of my anak-anak sedara, so my survey is more on my personal experience...

1) the stroller has to be light weight ; yes it's ok if our husbands are around all the time to help us carry the stroller, but in reality of course that is not the case....hehee...my maximum limit is 10kgs..anything heavier that that is a no no....and the weight has to be balance jugak..i have to make sure, when i carry the baby out, the stroller cannot topple, if i have my diaper bag at the handles...yes girls, some stroller ringan sgt sampai it can topple when you carry the baby out , if ada beg sangkut dekat the handle...

2) is has to be able to accommodate from new born to 3/4 years old ; For me it is very important that the stroller boleh recline full sampai baring position...while many assumes that full recline is only for newborn, but i can tell you now even when they are 3 years old, the full recline is useful for when they want to sleep while you are busy shopping or makan..hehehe...a happy sleeping baby/toddler = happy parents to shop with peace of mind...

3) it has to fold, umbrella fold ; the folding is very important so you have a lot of boot space in the car....sometimes me and my sisters all go out together..believe it or not, we will bring 3 strollers with us...nasib baik all the stollers folds very well & slim, so we can fit them comfortably in the car boot....

4) i have to be able to fold the stroller with 1 hand ; this criteria is actually very very tricky......byk stroller umbrella fold, but not many yang can fold with 1 hand...the rest all kena baringkan the stroller on the floor first, then carry it up....while some people don't mind this, but to me this folding method is very very very important....sebab mashaAllah senangnya when it folds with one hand, so you dont have to bongkok your back so much to carry the stroller to masuk the car boot...

5) it has to be a 4 wheeler ; while i know its a trend now to have a 3 wheeler, but for myself i'm very old school...hehe..i like 4 wheelers..sebab they fold smaller, and the most important thing, because it has 4 wheels, the lebar of the stroller is smaller then the 3 wheelers...3 wheelers kena lebar, to keep balance to the stroller...u see if the stroller is lebar, it is very hard to maneuver around the shopping malls, and grocery store, wedding halls and esp restaurants..leceh nanti langgar sana-langgar sini, kesian k.......and the most important thing is that, 4 wheelers are cheaper than 3 wheelers....

hehehe...so far, those are my top criteria in buying a stroller...and of course having said all these..i only have 1 brand in mind...heheh...and the winner is

PEG PEREGO

During those years that i jaga babies full time...i manage to guna peg perego, Mclaren, bugaboo and maxi-cosy/quinny combo...my fav. is definitely the peg perego stroller....

here i've uploaded a youtube video, then you will know what i mean by 1 hand folding....

so yes inshaAllah this is the stroller that i want to get...but not now, i nak tunggu beli masa 6 months pregnant nanti inshaAllah sometime in December...hopefully there are some good year end sale so i can buy it with a good bargain....

i'm pregnant...Alhamdulillah....

going to enter my 10th week....InshaAllah

still awal,still in my 1st trimester...i have to make loads of doa so nothing bad happens to the baby/janin InshaAllah...

also i would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone Eid Mubarrak. and Please have a save journey masa balik kampung nanti..make loads of doa, to jauhkan ourselves from any bad incident during raya InshaAllah...

For myself, this year is going to be my first time tak balik kampung, because my morning sickness/muntah2 has been quiet bad. I'm in no condition to travel long distance...also that's why i haven't been updating my blog, i was too weak to even open my emails and blog..

InshaAllah more baby updates after raya....

Salam everyone,

I found this amazing book on Ramadhan written by Um Imtiaz( Mazalina K. Ghouse) distributed by Al-khadeem....I would love to share it here....some of the articles that i find is an absolutely amazing reminder for all of us on preparing for Ramadhan....

1) seek sincere repentance
first- seek forgiveness from Allah swt and feel regret for all the sins committed.
second- ask the people whom we know to forgive our mistakes and foults.
third- free our hearts from negative attitudes and thoughts towards others...This will help our heart to be at peace and happy.

2) complete missed obligatory(wajib) fasts.
please make sure we have ganti ALL our fasts before Ramadhan comes.

3) seek knowledge on Ramadhan (very very important!!!!)
It is advisable to read books which are related to the rulings on fasting and it's virtues. This will develop better understanding of Ramadhan. Those who are head of family, it is their duty to educate the family about the acts of worship that should be performed during Ramadhan.

4) avoid activites which distracs acts of worship
Ramadhan is only 29-30days, therefore it is wise if we organise our work our work so that it does not distrac us from fulfilling our duties towards Allah swt.

Oh mashaAllah it may be only 4 things, but i can say, its a lot harder to do...I would like to share one of my past experience during Ramadhan.

a few years ago, before Ramadhan started, I went for a talk , to preparing for Ramdhan...And the scholar mashaAllah gave a detail explanation on ganjaran and dosa during Ramadhan....once of the things he mentioned was that some poeple yang puasa in ramadhan, mmg tak dapat pahala langsung, hanya sekadar haus and lapar sepanjang hari...base on the hadith sahih below....

Hadith - Al-Tirmidhi #1989, Narrated AbuHurayrah [Darimi transmitted it.]

Allah's Messenger said, "Many a one who fasts obtains nothing from his fasting but thirst, and many a one who prays during the night obtains nothing from his night prayers but wakefulness."

Here are 8 very important things to do , to make Allah swt accept our puasa, inshaAllah for those that practise this will recieve the full reward of ramadhan...

1)Niat (intention): Remind yourself again and again that you are fasting in obedience to Allah. Be sincere in your intention. You want Allah to accept your fasting. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Whosoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking Allah’s reward, all his past sins are forgiven.”(Reported by Al-Bukhari)

2.Sunnah: Observe the sunnah in fasting. Take the sahur meal a little before dawn and end your fast at sunset. Observe all the rules of fasting. It is very important to fast according to the example of our Prophet Muhammad SAW.

3.Wara`(Avoiding everything haram(forbidden) or makruh (disliked): Be conscious to have halal(lawful) food,halal income, halal relations. Avoid watching bad TV programs, videos, movies, etc. always but especially during this month. Keep your body and mind very clean. Avoid wasting your time in useless things and pursuits.

4.Qur’an: Spend more time with the Qur’an. Read Qur’an every day. Try to finish at least one time the whole Qur’an during this month in your own personal reading. Read some hadiths and the books of seerah(the Prophet’s biography).

5.Salat, du`a’ and dhikr of Allah: Pray on time and observe all Prayers. Do not ignore the Tarawih Prayers. Perform more supererogatory Prayers. Do as much worship as you can. Make more dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and du`a’(supplication) for yourself and for others. Repent and ask Allah for forgiveness as much as you can. This is the best time for devotion and seeking Allah’s forgiveness. Seek Laylat Al-Qadr (the Night of Power) by special devotion during the last ten nights of this month.

6.Zakah, sadaqahand generosity: Be very charitable and generous. Give more and more to help the poor and needy and to help good social and community projects. Also be good to your friends and neighbors. Let your non-Muslim neighbors and co-workers know that this is your blessed and sacred time.

7.Husn As-Suluk(good relations with others): Try to be extra kind and courteous during this month. Forget your quarrels and disputes. Reconcile and forgive. Do not get involved in backbiting, lying, cheating, and anything that is wrong. Be very good to Muslims and to all human beings.

8.Tafakkur(contemplation): Think, reflect, and plan to improve the moral and spiritual condition of your own self and your family. Think about any wrong things and sins you may have been doing and decide to correct yourself. Think about any deficiencies you have in your Islamic observances, and plan to change yourself. Think what you can do for the Ummah and for humanity to make this world a better place for everyone.

I know i haven't been the best at updating my blog, alhamdulillah i just recovered from the worst food poisoning I have ever gotten....tersuk sgt, sampai i had fever....

anyway also it donesn't help that my laptop still rosak, heish i haven't had the time to reformat my PC...

ok todays topic is on makeup artist...( sadly i have not receive any official pictures, so all pictures will only be uploaded once i dah dapat the gambar, i will update this post)

during our functions, we manage to work with 4 makeup artist, which is Sue cantik, Lova, Ayang kamel and A...ok...

now lets start with the good news,

MY untimate favourite makeup is def by faarrrr by LOVA...mmg me and my sis paling suka makeup by lova...she has this natural way of doing our face, just as how i want my makeup to be....so natural yet beautiful..lova's foundation is golden, so my skin macam had a glow, the whole day tak crack and the best part, it tak nampak putih on digital camera..i love it sooooo much, very simple but beautiful mashaAllah....so yes if anybody asks which makeup i love most, it has to be LOVA...i quote what habib said " from now on only Lova can makeup your face, no one else"..

sue cantik, was very nice, but my biggest issue is because sue is a man, and the foundation is tebal sikit, so my foundation cracked during the function, my face looked dry..tapi in the picture and video, mmg tak nampak...so i still love the makeup....

ok as for ayang and kak A....

ayang, mashaAllah is the nicest makeup artist among all...so lembut, while we were getting ready(imagine there was 4 orang kot tgh makeup sekali) ayang was very sweet to let us pinjam his eyeliner....ohh he is so baik....tapi is not that I didn't like ayangs makeup, i just feel that, it didn't suit our kind of face itu je...but i have to say, ayang is very very baik...

lastly ..kak A( i cannot name her sbb this is a bad review) was friendly, we were talking quite byk masa she buat makeup...so i explained to kak A, i only like 1 type of makeup...heavy eyes but nude lipstick and blusher...but sadly, she didn't give me that type of makeup..when i saw myself at the miror, my lipstick sgt merah, and blusher sgt merah..and when i said, terang sgt, she was a bit upset, and cakap, "tak dik nanti kat camera nampak natural"...you see itu yang buat a marah, sebab sue cantik and lova, did a very natural nude look, and takde pun nampak pudar on camera

sampai I open my pictures, to show how sue and lova mekup my face...stress sgt masa ni..lepas tu, i cakap nak light lagi colour dia....she pun sampai 3 kali tukar colour and sindir me and said, kalau colour macam ni, macam tak pakai lipstick and warna lagi pudar dari my own lips...but for me, that is what I want...

But masa i saw gmabr from the pictures he took, daniel zain tunjuk sikit, the makeup ok masa malam tu, tapi gambar siang semua mmg nampak my blusher and lipstick terang....and my foundation colour macam grey sikit(takda glow). I'm also upset because i bayar RM 750 (lagi mahal dari lova and ayang kamel), and i saw some product makeup yang murah.....i feel cheated esp on the foundation that is why my foundation looks grey...i'm very particular about cheap makeup, sebab i have sensitive skin...cheap makeup product uses cheap chemicals...but the best part is after everything she sms me to minta maaf and said hoped i liked the makeup...walaupun ada problem sikit, all in all it was ok....it was my mistake jugak, I pun nak tukar her trademark style, of course she pun tak happy...

for lova and sue cantik, mmg i have seen bride lain and i suka the style...tapi the other 2 makeup artist tu, mmg i tak minat sgt, esp the colour of the foundation..I am very particular with the colour of the foundation....i paling tak suka when the foundation turns grey or white...tak nampak seri....

My advice to everyone, find a makeup artist yang u suka, from what you see at other brides...

p/s: what is cantik and beautiful for me, might be too simple or tak cantik for others...please take note that this is a personal review of my personal taste...

henna for reception

I shall start my first entry with our lovely henna....oh this time henna was amazing, and i was VERY happy with the end results...if I had to recommend , i would def say this time henna is a lot better than my nikah hari tu...

trust me i have done henna in a loooot of places..this is one of the paling kemas i have ever gotten...

for my tandang amrina came over to the house again to top up, amrina wanted to come hari khamis, but on Thursday my henna was still terang and clear..so on Friday tu, i scrubbed the henna from my hand from reception on my side and last minute mintak tolong if she can come Saturday morning... but this time we had to use instant henna...the sayang part is because it was intant henna, it kembang on my skin, so it didn't look fine...but that was not amrina's fault, it was the henna yang kembang..

bottom line is, if in the future anybody asks me about henna...amrina, she is the girl to go to...inshaAllah...

Also i secretly hoped, if I informed the Hotel that we were on our honeymoon, that they would upgrade us...Alhamdulillah which they did. Hotels will only upgrade you (if they want to) if you book with them directly, bookings done via travel agent, matta fair and website, usually they don't give that personal touch...

anyway all the best, for those interested with Krabi honeymoon...because being an Island lover, i have to say, I fully recommend this holiday.

p/s: The best part of our Krabi honeymoon is Phi Phi island trip...Kalau pergi Krabi, tak pergi Phi Phi is such a waste. Snorkeling here is one of the most beautiful places i've ever seen, even if I want to compare if it with my previous experience snorkeling at Redang, Tioman, Perhentian and Sabah.

I have friends complaining, kenapa i don't upload my blog as often as i use to...

well

no 2) MOST IMPORTANT , in July, ialah bulan yang paling kami busy because we are planning for 4 major functions...

- nikah my sis

but its going to be so exciting...

some has said, wah you must love weddings so much, to have a blog, and write about it...well to tell you the truth, its not just weddings..i love any events that requires planning.. and we(+ my family) love planning from family holidays to family gatherings to raya, anniversaries and birthdays......hehhee...its not just planning a wedding that gives me that rush..is planning anything, that involves decorations + theme...

i love decorations ALOT...to me flowers are absolutely beautiful...esp fresh flowers...Allah swt gave us flowers for us to decorate, and i will make full use of it..ehehehe....and you know the best part about flowers, we MUST use it to decorate, because if we just leave it on the pokok, it will still die...

but the funniest part is, i hate receiving flowers as a gift...i don't allow my hubby to buy me a bouquet of flowers to give me...because its just soo mahal and most of the time its tak cantik, because to me flowers wrap in plastic like that mmg tak cantik, i can do better myself.....if he wants to give me flowers, either from cameron, floristika or petaling street..hehehe...and it must be loose flowers, coz the best part is to arrange it sendiri...

speaking of flowers, hari tu, i tolong one of my good friend for her hantaran...we went to floristika together to buy flowers, of course, the bride choose the flowers herself..like me she loves eustoma and carnations..i love these 2 flowers..mmg sgt cantik...i also helped buat the handbouquet.very uniqe yellow flowers..of course, choosen by the bride herself..hehhee...tapi i cannot find any picture of it...hmm must ask from her...

i did it at the last minute, 1 day before nikah baru nak sibuk arrange, padahal be bought the flowers 3 days before the nikah..hehhee..me the procrastinator...

wedding corsages

Salam,

Just wanted to share our idea for the corsages that we made during my nikah...we decided to add a little sense of humor, since yg datang is mostly family and my friends...so it was a very relaxed function for my parents...

being in a large family alhamdulillah, many gets confused with who is who.. esp us sisters, because some say we all look similar..hehee..

2 of my sisters, created this 2 days before my wedding...hehehe..i was a little upset because it was done at the very last minute, but alhamdulllah my sisters, they never disappoint...

well as for my update with the reception next week..its has been quite crazy...we just found out yesterday the hall we are doing it in, us undergoing a major renovation at the entrance..urgh..sedih nya..and they never informed us...so now, the hall is going to have a very messy and ugly entrance...all the hall people can do is, on the wedding day, they will clear a path for the guests to masuk...how uncomfortable...

mum says, we must be positive...at every wedding of course things will go wrong..and what will change it is our attitude towards it....I'm just worried, if the guests can't find the way in..or if they feel very uncomfortable because of the construction around...

other than that, alhamdulillah everything is ok...at first i thought having a reception after 4 months is like whatever lah...i've already had my wedding......but just 10 days before, now i feel that my excitement is building..hehehe...mashaAllah...i'm so excited being a bride all ever again (to the same guy)..hehehe...oh I'm so excited....

just make doa all the 4 functions goes pleasantly...ameen ya Rabbal A'lameen...

today i want to share on share on hair....i've gotten a few questions on where i cut my hair and stuff, and thought why not i upload an entry on it...

ok for my hair, right now I only trust very specific places and people..hehhe...

I'm one who is very very particular with my hair..since a very young age, i always take care of my hair..because good beautiful hair can make one look really good...

disclaimer: this entry is only dedicatedf for women who wants to look beautiful for their husband and family(mahrams only)

For hair salon, my favorite right now is yes, Organic Hair Professional...in One utama, 1st floor, new wing...

why i go here??...well the biggest plus point its because all the products are organic, meaning they have less harmfull materials...since the last 10 years, my family has been practicing a healthier lifestyle, and one of the things we changed is our cosmetic/beauty product...

while i was doing my degree, i learn so many things on chemicals, and i can tell you all right now girls, there are too many unhealthy chemicals in our daily beauty products...

of course, organic product does not mean its 100% safe..but at least, they cut down the use of the main dangerous chemicals...and the shampoo smells great...so fruity...i love it...

a lot of people make fun of our lifestyle, but i truly believe in what we do...and since I've been using the proper hair care,mashaAllah, my hair & esp my scalp is feels soo much healthier..alhamdulillah...

the 2nd reason why i love going here is because, they have a private room..so yes, girls out there yang pakai tudung, they have a room here, yang they wont allow any men to enter, unless you allow them too..and mashaAllah i can say, they really respect our muslim believe...yes, of course ada extra charges, they charge extra 10%..so kalau haircut is RM 60 +10% total you have to pay is RM 66....

my fav hairstylist here is jesse...honestly i went first in early 2009..and i really wasn't that happy with jesse's cut...tapi a few months back, when i cut my hair, mashaAllah she has improved so much...now i looove it..hehehe....jesse is the only female hairstylist there...

for Man, i strongly suggest jimmy...but i have to say i'm biased, because hubby only goes to jimmy..so i havent really gotten to know any other male stylist..but jimmy has amazing memory, everytime we come , he remembers us...even though there was this one time, we din't go there for more than 6 months...and he still ingat...

on hair perming....

I would of course say organics is a better salon to go, but the price for organic perm is very mahal..but one of my friend did it..and my goodness its the most natural perm i've seen..and absolutely no chemical smell...imagine, the perming chemical smells fruity...and her hair didn't become dry at all..but the price..rougly around RM 400...but if you have the budget, please go here..its just so cantik...

for myself, clearly, RM 400 is too much...so i opted for a different perm..while many likes normail perm, i find that the curls are so unnatural looking, everyone will know, its a perm..esp those yg buat half the kepala only...

i suggest, go to thomas & guys and do the SPA PERM.....i'm not so sure the difference between spa perm and digital perm...but according to a hairstylist, the difference is on the heating method...i have no idea actually..so i shall not elaborate...

i went to thomas and guys in shah alam Sacc mall..they are having a promotion spa perm for RM 198nett(all hair length)...the best hairstylist for perming is christine (sarawakian). She did the perm with full passion, and was so very friendly during the whole time....

this is a sample of how the spa perm curls is...spa perm is very loose, so it mainly big curls....which i love most...

and the best part about Thomas and Guys in Sacc mall..they too have a private VIP room...the cost is slightly more though sebab the VIP room here is very big comparing to hair organics is One utama......

its 3.20 am now..hmm really sleepy...

I wanted to share, on what i've been up to lately...

we have 19 more days to the reception..meaning my sister has only 18 more days inshaAllah to her nikah..hehehe..

a lot of people asks on how i feel right now excited tak?..i can say i'm A WHOLE load more relax now... compared when it was 19 days to my nikah(masa ni macam dah crazy)..hehhee....sebab our nikah pun dah lepas Alhamdulillah....

for my reception, i didn't want it to be like my nikah...i wanted it to be more meaning full than anything..so a lot of things this time, I decided to do it myself...

my biggest project is...my wedding baju...remember this post

i gave a teaser on my outfits..but now my nikah baju dah jadi for my reception...(dah almost 4 bulan nikah, i feel like i'm a pengantin basi already) so my main intention is to give my sister full limelight..hehehe....

ok my baju lace putih tu, lace, came empty..sebab i wanted the designer to tambahkan the beads for me cantik2....but like i said, i wanted a more personal feel, so i decided to do it myself...

yup, myself, and yes FYI, i have No experience in beadings at all..memang tak pernah buat..

so far, its been 2 months dah sabby penat menjahit beads sini, menjahit beads sana..still tak habis2 lagi...everytime, buat, kalau salah i have to redo everything...

now its 90% siap, alhamdulllah...results...hmmm... well, all i can say is, its looks homemade...but the satisfaction i have, knowning that i did it myself, i think that is priceless..and now, this while lace baju has become my new favorite wedding attire......

It been more than 3 days now, since my cousins passing....We are no longer allowed to mourn...

Let's talk about my caterer during my wedding day....We we first introduce to them during a wedding of a family friend...oh Subhanallah...the food was soo sedap...My parents came back to the wedding just so they can eat the food again...I stayed sampai habis, so that we can tapau food home...

This was about 3 years ago.....and i had told myself, ok this is the caterer i want for my wedding...Sajian D Hidang....

Alhamdulillah, i got them, food was sedap...they were clean..and everything was as they promised...they were so easy to work with mashaAllah...i fully recommended...

the blueberry cheese tart, was one of my fav..and I'm so glad, all the food we ordered habis...we only had to bring back home, ada sikit samosa and popiah...the rest alhamdulillah habis...

Inhuman PTD training

My beautiful cousin mashaAllah was a victim of inhuman treatment during her PTD training "Comando module". And Astaghfirullah she died while doing the training.

Verily to Allah SWT, Belongs what HE took and to HIM belongs what HE gave and everything with HIM has an appointed time...

oh May Allah swt forgive all her sins and Make her amongst those in syurga. And give strength to all family... Ameen ya Rabbal Alameen....

My cousin was not feeling well since Sunday itself, and pihak camp knew it, because they brought her to a clinic in banting and hospital banting.

Pihak kem dah tahu dia sakit tapi paksa dia buat traning sama dengan yang lain.
Training dia merangkumi masuk lupur. masuk dalam air laut, minum air kotor stokin, kayak for 4 HOURS!

SHE was FORCED to do while HAVING BREATHING DIFFICULTIES!

Yang paling teruk pihak keluarga diberitahu, shima yang sedang sejuk (akibat demam) dan gunakan Jacket, ada seorang tenaga pengajar, yang RAMPAS jacket dari shima, selepas itu paksa shima masuk ke dalam tempat yang berlumpur. Astanghfirullah

Mestilah keadaan nya yang sakit jadi lebih teruk!

What happened at the camp? sampai bila shima sampai hospital, dia sudah dalam keadaan sangat kritikal?

Tak cukup, pihak kem tak cakap pihak keluarga langsung yang shima sakit, walaupun shima dah inform pihat kem untuk memberitahu keluarganya yang dia sakit.

FAMILY WAS ONLY INFORMED on Friday , when she was already tak sedar.

Yang paling saya tak faham, kenapa diorg simpan handphone? mereka bukankah sudah dewasa yang setengah tu sudah ada suami dah anak di rumah? Sebab diorg simpan handphone shima tak dapat inform kelaurga yang dia sakit.

Memang as Muslims mashaAllah, Family has accepted the fate from Allah SWT that today is her time to leave this world... Tapi sangat menyedihkan bila kami dapat tahu cara pihak kem handle kes ini.

Allah SWT knows what happened.Allah SWT knows best... And may all the irresponsible people get whatever they deserve.Amen....

Hari tu i had an email asking about ring for guys.

We went surveying a few shops, at Habib Jewels they only had this material called suasa( thanks to nahwal). People say it still has gold in it, we all pun was was, so we figured might as well stay away....here are some hadith that haramkan the use of gold for men.

Islam has prohibited two kinds of adornment for men, while permitting them to women. These are, first, gold ornaments and, second, clothing made of pure silk. 'All reported that the Prophet (peace be on him) took some silk in his right hand and some gold in his left, declaring, "These two are haram for the males among my followers." (Reported by Ahmad, Abu Daoud, al-Nisai, Ibn Hayyan, and lbn Majah, who reports the additional phrase, "but halal for the females.") 'Umar reported that he heard the Prophet (peace be on him) say,

The Prophet (peace be on him) once saw a gold ring on a man's hand. He immediately took it from him and threw it down saying, 'Does a person pick up a piece of burning coal and hold it in his hand?' After the Prophet (peace be on him) had left the place, someone asked the man, 'Why do you not pick it up and benefit from it?' He replied, 'No, by Allah! I shall not pick it up after the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him) has thrown it away.' (Reported by Muslim.)

The same prohibition which applies to the gold ring likewise applies to what we observe among conspicuous spenders, i.e., the gold pen, gold watch, gold cigarette case and lighter, gold teeth, etc.

The Prophet (peace be on him), however, permitted men to wear silver rings. On the authority of Ibn'Umar, al-Bukhari reported the former saying, "The Messenger of Allah (peace be on him) wore a silver ring. After him, Abu Bakr and then 'Umar and 'Uthman wore it, until it fell off his finger into the well of Arees." (Reported by al-Bukhari in the chapter on "Clothing" (Al-Libas).) As for other metals such as iron, there are no sound texts prohibiting them. On the contrary, in the Sahih of al-Bukhari we find that the Messenger of Allah (peace be on him) advised a man who wanted to marry a woman to,"Present her with a gift, even if it be ring made of iron." On the basis of this hadith al-Bukhari inferred the permissibility of iron rings.

alright to continue, If we wanted to buy platinum was a bit too expensive, so survery2, last last we found a ring, at Goldheart. The material is called Palladium. Palladium is family with platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium. They are called the platinum group metals (PGMs).Palladium is heavy, so it feels solid to wear it. And of course the price, all depends on you hubby ring size, normal price is mmg less that RM1k, kalau saiz besar it can cecah above 1k. and masa we dekat goldheart pun there was byk other material for mens ring, yg mmg takda gold in it.They also have another interesting material called Platim (platinum +steerling), its worth to take a look as the price is between RM 3xx till RM 1xxx (information credits to TheBubblyMe)

Ok hari tu, i janji to do a post on how i saved money for my wedding, so i can have spare for my reception...

i shall go straight to the point.

1) wedding at dewan komuniti

sewa dewan komuniti is always less then RM 2k, meaning if you rent 1 hari everyone boleh selesa dalam dewan. kalau buat dekat rumah, mmg best (our house depan main road, mmg confirm tak boleh tutup jalan), tapi cost untuk canopy can be mahal. for RM 2000 boleh dapat 4 khemah je maximum. That is why, i say if buat wedding at dewan komuniti can be very money saving, and the best part, dapat aircond sekali.

2) tables and chairs

to maximise tables and chairs, i used square tables instead of round. and sewa meja square lagi murah dari meja bulat. For myself, i mmg prefer square table, i have never liked meja bulat, sbb limit dia either 8 or 10 orang..sbb my family besar, kalau the whole family pergi wedding/makan2, family kitorang sure kena seperate meja, and i hate that. If square table, all of us can sit together.

Besides that, i didn't use any chair ribbon, because my decorator mentioned that chair ribbon, is unnecessary, sbb tak perlu sangat pun for deco. so i actually save a few hundered sbb tak guna chair ribbons. my decorator mentioned, keep the chairs all white nanti nampak kemas and bersih...sebab he said kalau guna plastic chairs, nanti ribbon senang jatuh, senget, keromot, and nanti the whole place nampak tak kemas

3) decor

now of course, masa awal2, tak terfikir langsung nak buat gazebo tgh2 hall.. i wanted to do the deco on the stage, sbb tinggi nanti ramai orang nampak. But my mum suggested buat tgh2 dewan, buat platform so boleh duduk to nikah. My decorator suka the idea sbb, dapat save money, tak payah buat laluan and everything, lepas tu, kalau buat deco tgh dewan everyone akan concetrate kat tgh dewan sahaja, plus he said ramai orang selalu segan nak naik pelamin utk ambil gambar sebab kat atas pentas, end up gambar orang selalu ambil kat laluan/or gerbang masuk je. so he said, kalau buat tgh2 dewan orang tak malu sangat nak pergi pelamin ambil gambar.

lepas tu, i remembered ayat2 cinta and loved the idea nikah tgh dewan. after that we came up with the idea, of building a gazebo tgh tgh dewan. dcorator cakap, stage tak payah guna, then dewan tak nampak kosong, sbb its a nikah, guest tak ramai macam kenduri walimah..

and i tanya pulak pasal centrepiece, he said tak payah pun takpa but if nak, just buat kecil2 pun ok....sbb org tak pandang sangat meja, poeple will just concentrate on the gazebo.

4) food

i think this is paling penting. of course ramai suka buat wedding yg hidang guna dome. But kalau buat buffet, boleh save half the harga, Kalau buffet, boleh dapat biasa from RM 15/person. so kalau invite 300 orang, baru RM 4500 ribu.. the best part kalau buat at dewan komuniti, you boleh panggil mana2 caterer, dia takda caterer yg u mesti guna..alhamdulillah...

5) centrepiece

ok, for centrepiece, i put chocolate dates, with small flower posy and wedding favour. Jadi with all this, meja square panjang2 tu dah tak nampak kosong alhamdulillah. chocolate dates, i just put on doily paper atas cardboard keras, yg u boleh beli mana2 supermarket and tak mahal. centrepiece, i mintak Merisik gallery tolong buatkan, ohh i suka sgt the flower combo, matching with my pink deco and eustoma hand bouquet.

6) hantaran

saving money on hantaran, gave us a lot more money to be spent elsewhere like our honeymoon...

7) photographer

"spend within your means" this is something yg both my parents remind us all the time...for photographer the biggest way to save is to take a package only with soft copy, tak masuk album, because album is always a huge portion of the payment. and then after the wedding you can custom your own album according to your taste, there are some easy software available nowadays like photobook.or you can print out pictures in different sizes, and keep them in the wedding album.

but like i mentioned, this is only suitable for those who are looking to save money...For those with unlimited budget, i think all this rules does not apply...hheehhe

The change of plans (part 2)

So now from my previous post, i dah explain how my nikah became more like a reception that nikah..because it was memang suppose to be my reception.

The next decision that we had to make was how to nikah in a hall, but keep the number small. U see when my sis nikah in the hall terus sambung reception, so it was not a problem. at this point my nikah was only for 200 poeple. 100 for habibs family and 100 for my family...

But the problem is, dewan tu besar, it fits paling sikit that will look cantik is 28 tables..that is 280 people kan..so after weighing our options, I decided, why not for nikah invite all my friends and reception in July, concentrate on my parents friends only..so we will proceed with small reception of 400-500 pax in July

ok, i ordered cards and send sms and facebook msg to all my friends to ajak for my "reception" after my nikah...this was 2 months before the wedding..i had to invite all my friends because i can't invite them for my reeption in july because the hall that we booked for july reception max boleh 450 pax only

so kiranya masa ni the plan is family datang for nikah at 11am, and friends datang from 12pm to 2pm for makan2 for all of my friends...

but during this time, i punyalah pujuk my sis to kahwin together in July..sebab they were planning to do their wedding either late December 2010 or early 2011...pujuk punya pujuk..finally my sis agreed to kahwin sekali in July...so instead of having a small reception for my parents friend sahaja.we agreed on, my sis nikah 1 day before the reception. and reception ajak everyone..then orang tak payah datang bnyk kali..yelah nanti everybody muak, my family je ada byk function nak kena pergi..n we tak buat during school hols so susah for families to travel far...

So in Jan 2010, my sis go engaged..alhamdulillah..hehehe...ohh i cannot mention how thankful i am to Allah swt, my sis and her fiancée and parents for agreeing to this arrangement.

our july reception kan dewan boleh muat 450 pax only..we all pun decided dari buat sit down might as well do buffet..

since it was Jan 2010, takkan i nak tarik balik my invitations to all my friends, and tell them ohh my reception dah tukar july pulak..dah lah i dah ajak more then 100 people...Jadi we all pun teruskan jugak with all friends coming for my nikah on Feb 2010...and inshaAllah i will ajak everyone again in july..dah since buat buffet..so boleh ajak everyone.....

of course me and my sis have our own dream wedding correct?? so our parents agree that, nikah we the wedding that we want ...my sis pun dapat plan her dream wedding..and then reception. buat just a simple makan2..

so yes girls, that is the answer to every-bodies question...our reception inshaAlah, will be just a simple makan-makan,..it will look nothing like my nikah...dewan pun i tak ambil the decoration package to save money...

alhamdulillah i already had my dream wedding during my nikah, which is a more important date that i want to remember..and my sister will have her dream wedding during her nikah...inshaAllah...

the amount of times we had to change plans..ohh i dah jadi gila for a while...But Allah SWT knows best..and somehow this was the best arrangements for us alhamdulillah...

p/s: after this i will do an entry on how i saved money during my nikah. I received emails tanya how i can spend so much for my nikah...hehehe..its called wedding cheats..believe it or not, most of the advice came from my decorator.

i received emails sayaing how excited they are to see my reception. They have a theory if my nikah is like then, that what is my reception like??

well let me tell you girls, the story behind my nikah first...

initially when me and habib planned it, it was suppose to be nikah on the 19th feb 2010, at this absolutely beautiful place, dewan masjid saidina omar bukt damansara. Same concept, where we nikah at the stage, while the guests will be seated at the tables, while watching us on the stage. To me that would have been the best arrangements, because even if i was menstruating (red flag) during the nikah its not going to be a problem, sbb the dewan is not part of the tpt solat, but i still get to nikah in a masjid. Tak ke senang macam tu?

this is sample picture of the dewan at masjid bukit damansara. Kerja kahwin did a beautiful decor here, i fell i love, i hired them to be one of my decorator, for one of the 4 events we are having in July 2010 nanti inshaAllah. p/s: dewan ni selesa sampai 250 orang.

And the reception was going to be at Dewan komuniti bukit damansara, the next day. Of course we book dewan ni dulu, baru decide tpt nikah. So May 2009, we paid full for the hall, sbb ada 2 org nak tarikh yg sama. Kalau i tak bayar full, then org lain tu akan ambil my hall..of course i did not want that to happen kan..

tapi dewan ni alhamdulilah price ok, RM 1600 sewa for 1 day.

so i figured since dah book dewan might as well i book everything else..so i pun bayar caterer utk 19hb and 20hb feb. Both caterer yg sama, Sajian D'hidang (oh food dioorg mmg sgt sedap).

dewan kat masjid utk nikah pun sudah book. so bulan ogos 2009, i pun buat my baju semua. Baju putih for nikah, and baju pink utk reception. Also we booked the photographer sekali.

But during the engagement dinner october 2009, atas sebab2 yg tidak dapat dihalang, at the end of the day kita merancang Allah swt yg menentukan, correct? We had a change of plans. There was a request of having our wedding in July instead.

Bincang2 with vendor, they cannot give us refund.... and we cannot move to july pulak because the hall is no longer available. alhamdulillah, masjid boleh cancel, sebab tak bayar lagi.

Nasib baik i took all the same vedor for 19th and 20th, so kiranya the extra deposit i paid semua pergi ke downpaymen/deposit for 20 hb feb,since i have canceled the event on the 19th feb.

But dewan komuniti if we cancel we loose all the payment that we have done, which is dewan, makeup artist, caterer, photographer. semua pun hilang. Baju je ok coz can simpan no problem.

after byk2 fikir non stop, the only solution i had was to postponed my reception but proceed with nikah. The tricky part is i have to use all my reception vendor utk nikah. Fikir2, we all pun buat keputusan, ok proceed nikah kat dewan komuniti, but reception plan yg lain in july...

so now all the vendor yg sab book utk reception semua dah tukar jadi nikah...

so yes, that is why my nikah became like that, sbb its actually my reception. Even the pink baju was for my reception, tapi sbb the pink theme was utk dewan komuniti tu, i pun pakai je baju reception for nikah.

My white baju nikah, now dah tukar utk reception pulak...

so now what happens to my reception?...hehehhe..

let's wait for part 2, nanti byk sgt writting org malas nak baca kan??

p/s: i so wish i can wear my baju pink for my reception again...hmmm....
